He woke up to his alarm going off. His hand shot out and turned it off. Five more minutes. He reached over to the other side of the bed. Empty. He didn't expect anyone to be there, nor did he really want anyone to be there.

Except her.

A knock on the door fully wakes him up. "Master Bruce, it's getting late. You have that meeting in two hours." He heard Alfred say through the door. He sighed and threw the covers off his legs. He sat on the side of his bed and stared at the floor. He had that dream again. No, forget it. It was just a dream, nothing more. He stood up and headed to the bathroom to get ready. It was going to be a long day.

She glanced towards the door and half expected him to open it. Nothing. Stop waiting on him, Diana. He's not coming. Just get up. She slid out of bed and looked in the mirror. Same blue eyes, same black hair. She grabbed the brush and took it through her hair, making sure to get all the knots out. She wanted to put a pair of yoga pants and a T-shirt on, but being a superhero meant wearing a costume, no matter how much the guys stare at you.

Every guy but him.

After getting out of the bathroom, she pulled her star-spangled costume on and slipped a navy blue cape over it. It was winter down on Earth and the temperature in the Watchtower mimicked it. She slid on her boots and walked out of her room. She knew he was going to be there, but was she really ready?
