Chapter 2: Frost & FireThe forest is big. Inside it is a boy sobbing by a lake. The sounds of burning debris from the village that his brother burned down 'by accident'. He wiped the tears away and began collecting firewood.
The village is burnt to the ground, so there is no use of him ever going back in. He gathered some supplies that might help him survive.
He lights the firewood and flames burst from the wood. He gets a rock and gets something in his backpack. What he found was a blanket to keep him warm.
He slept but couldn't. The sounds of the flames reminds him of the flames of the village. And the light reflects his brother, Aiden. He rolled left and right, not hitting the flames.
"I'm... lost." Lucas thought as he tucked himself into bed. The grass was uncomfortable enough to keep him wide awake. "Well, better get used to it. I'm gonna go anywhere now that my home is destroyed. Thanks alot Aiden." The tone is low and angry, "I thought your supposed to protect the village from danger. I didn't realize you were the danger the village ever got a problem with.".
[Morning] The fire probably stopped.
I woke up near a bird taking off. It spreads those magestic wings and soar through the sky. I'm like bird, I can fly through anything. The sun was hot, but colder than usual.
I was covered in thick leaves and branches that fell off the tree I was near in. Seeing that one day, all the leaves might fall and get the chance to get blown away by the wind fills you with...
The flames reached the first few trees of the forest. You ran to the other direction and stumbled into a cliff.
The forest was half burned and nearly half empty. It must be my brother.
I couldn't jump, I shouldn't jump.
