Akada, Okami and Accalia were hunting for the winter stalk. As they started stalking a deer, Akada was creeping closer to it. Accalia was behind it in case it started to run the other way. Okami stayed and flanked both sides. As Okami stood there crouching she noticed something out of the corner of her eye. It was a gun. As soon as she noticed it was pointing at Akada she started to yell, "Aka-!" but Accalia noticed it first, because as soon as the gun was shot, Accalia shoved Akada out of the way. The shot hit her instead. Killing her on spot. The deer ran off and so did the hunter. Akada and Okami walked slowly to her still body. When they came up to her, they both wimpered and howled as a sign to show the clan they had lost a wolf. The clan heard from a few miles away and all howled knowing what had happened. Akeda and Otsanda were only five years old when it happened. He didn't know his aunt that well, only that she was black just like him. Akeda has bright orange eyes and Accalia had bright blue eyes just like Otsanda. Otsanda and Akeda howled with their caretaker. When Akada and Okami came back to the clan, everyone gathered around. Akada said, "It is no longer safe here, we all have to move somewhere safer, for the pups," he said while looking at Akeda Otsanda and the other pups. Okami stepped up saying, "Where else can we possibly go? We've lost so many. We're running out of places to go Akada. They're everywhere, they have traps everywhere." Akada nodded, "I know." She started growling a little bit, "if you know why aren't you doing anything about it!" He stepped down walking to her slowly. "I'd watch who you're talking to. Becuase as far as I'm concerned you aren't doing anything either," he said staring down at her. Akada looked over at the pups, especially Otsanda and Akeda. They all looked around confusingly not knowing what the other wolves were talking about. Akada was thinking, if anything had happened to them. To Otsanda and Akeda. He would never forgive himself. He shook the thought of them dying out of his head. "Let's not talk about this now. We'll have a clan meeting tonight after the pups are asleep." They all nodded. Except one, Okami. She looked at him with a mixture of anger and sadness. She eventually nodded than looked away from him. They all separated and waited till dusk.
