The Plan

"Hey Nino!" Alya called out to her friend as she entered the cafe and sat across from her classmate.
"Hey Alya! You got the plans for the science project?" Nino asked Alya.
"Yeah I'm planning to do the classic soda volcano experiment!" Alya explained
"Sweet! That's fun and easy." Nino replied
"It's so funny that Marinette and Adrian were paired for the science project. Marinette literally went red." Alya laughed
"Yeah. I can't believe that Adrian doesn't know that Mari had a crush on him.It's so obvious."
"Yeah. I guess he just isn't interested in girls." Alya said as she started to sip her strawberry milkshake
"No he is, he's just to scared to ask or show it." Nino explained at this Alya practically spit out her drink.
"What! He likes a girl?" Alya shouted surprised
"Well... Yeah." Nino tried to explain not sure how to put it
"Like and actual girl? Not just being a fanboy of LadyBug or what?" Alya quickly questioned
"Yeah. He likes an actual girl that's not LadyBug."
"Who?" Alya asked desperately wanting to know
"I'm the only he's told so don't go telling people as he wont trust me anymore okay." Nino asked Alya
"I promise I won't tell, just hurry up and tell me I need to know." Alya promised
"Fine. He likes Mari." Nino gave up and told Alya
"Mari? As in Marinette who has a massive crush on Adrien?" Alya Alex Nino perplexed by this new fact
"Yeah. He likes her but he doesn't know that she likes him. He's scared to ask her and won't listen to me when I say that Mari likes him and would go out with him."
"Oh my ladybug! How are they not together and don't know that they both have crushes on each other?" Alya asked Nino not understanding how they weren't together.
"I don't know. He doesn't believe me when I tell him that Mari likes him as well." Nino explained
"That's crazy." Alya said in awe
"I wonder if he'd believe you?" Nino said
"Wait a sec. That might work!" Alya exclaimed "and Mari might believe you if you tell her!"
"We should switch friends for some of the day!" Nino said and explained a plan they could use. Nino would ask Mari to help him find a book in the library and Mari would of course be happy to help. Then Alya would ask Adrian if he could show her a bit of what fencing was like because she wanted to join the club. Of course Nino wouldn't want a book and Alya wouldn't want to learn about fencing but it would give them excuses to tell Marionette and Adrien that they both liked each other and hopefully get them together.
"Then that's final! We'll try it tomorrow!" Alya excited told Nino
"Great let's get Adreinette together!" Nino said
"Adrienette? I like that! Let's make them an item okay?" Alya asked
"Sure. See ya tomorrow for the switch plan!" Nino said
"Yeah!" Alya said giggling. "Let the switch plan make Adrienette an item!"
