I woke up panting, but without any tears this time. I haven't woken up in tears from these dreams for a while now...I can't really tell if that's good because it means they're going away or if that's bad because I might be starting to not tell the difference between a good dream or a nightmare. I get up from my bed and rub my face furiously, probably making my eyes red but I guess I didn't really give a crap if my eyes were burning or not in the morning. I opened up my bed side drawer and took out a capsule full of green and white pills.

"This shit has to stop..." I groaned as I opened up the capsule, took a pill and swallowed. I coughed, regretting that I didn't swallow it down with water as I do every morning, and put the capsule away. I get up and get dressed, and head outside through the backdoor in my one room home. I take my first step on a long sandy road for another boring, relentless morning and sigh as I stare at the long sandy road ahead of me that leads to my destination. "Two more days until the truck's back from the shop..." I mutter to myself, trying to give myself hope and something to look up to...and it would've probably worked, if only I didn't know that having it back in two days is complete bullshit, basing on how many times the repair guys delayed it. I pass by the broken up fence of that shared farm me and the Jeffersons who live at least one mile away from my home I own and sigh in bitterness, remembering that I caused that broken fence to that now a mess of what they call a vegetable farm. And as you can tell from my bitter expression, the Jeffersons and I aren't really that happy with sharing a farm...I guess you can say we're having a feud going on?

I don't even remember fully of what caused the feud, it was such a while ago that I can only just obtain small parts of it. Apparently one of the Jeffersons and I got into some sort of fight or argument, them thinking that my half is slightly bigger or that some of my crops were growing partially to their side or something like that...like i said, I can only remember small parts of it. Though, whatever the case, whatever stupid subject we had an argument about, we're kind of enemies now and we have a fence dividing their farm and mine...still sharing the property.

"Ah, and here he is! The dreadful spawn that had trashed our fence." a familiar and horrible voice called out and speak of the devil, there they were; the Jeffersons...well, at least some of them. They were hanging around near their broken fence.

"You broke my daddy's fence!" Mr. Jefferson's daughter called out. I think her name's Jenny.

"Hello Mr.Jefferson, hello uh...little girl." I greeted them, feeling a sharp pain in my chest as I did so. Greeting these moronic farmers was like listening to rusty nails being scratched on a chalk board.

"Howdy James, do you have the money you owe us for a new fence plate?" he asked in the most annoying tone he could possibly ask...as he always does every morning ever since i crashed partially crashed into his property. And I don't know if this is just me or if I'm being an ass, but i swear the way he asks that same annoying question, each time he asks it it just gets more and more annoying. I sighed and crossed my arms.

"I told you before Mr. Jefferson, my truck blew a tire and it just swirled into it. I had no control of where it swirled to." i practically growled at him. But as usual, he just scoffs and shakes his head.

"Excuses, James boy, all excuses." he responded with the same response he always gives me when I tell him the truth. This time, i guess i wasn't really too fond of his reaction, because i began to ball up my fists.

"You know Scotty boy, this whole accident with your fence breaking could've been all avoided if only you did the smart thing like I did and made your fence out of unbreakable steel, but no, you had to go with wood." i growled at him, poking him in the chest as i did so. I should've stopped where I was heading here, but i didn't...this guy needed a telling. "And here's the deal Scotty, there's nothing wrong with wood, hell it's quite strong. But what you did was be a complete idiot, as you always be, and just had to buy the flimsiest and most breakable would you could find, didn't you you idiot?"
