         "Dad?" I breathed out, the one person I lived so many years with, got hurt by so many times, is now standing in front of me... He grinned, "Hello my lovely daughter," he started to laugh.. it had an evil sound to it. "It's been a while, don't you think?" HE stepped closer then I stepped back, Athan then took my hand and stared at me, "is he going to hurt you again?" My father chuckled, "oh nooooo, we're just gonna play some games, like we used to!" He lunged forward, grabbing me by the throat then slammed me against a tree, I screamed of course, from the surprise. He stared at me dead in the eyes as he tightened his grip, "useless brat, tearing apart MY fucking marriage, making MY wife think you are more important..." He started to dig his nails into my neck.. as my neck was dripping blood, I screamed. Then I suddenly fell to the ground, I looked up and saw Athan pinning my father to the ground, "YOU DON'T FUCKING TOUCH HER, YOU USELESS MUTT," She screamed, I sat there not knowing what to do, what if he hurts her, what if he comes after me again and kills me, I was so distracted by my thoughts that i didn't even notice her walking over to me. "Are you alright?" I nodded then looked away, "thank you..." She smiled and kissed my head then picked me up and started walking to my home, "he shouldn't be bothering you anymore, but for safety measures, I'm going to stay with you for a while." I nodded then looked at her, "You don't have to protect me... what did you do anyways?" She grinned then pulled out a small jar of wolves bane, "I said I would shove this down his throat, then I picked a bit out and shoved it into his mouth, he ran off after he got out of my grasp" I nodded slowly, "Y-you won't take that out with my mother, friends, or I.. will you?" She smiled and kissed my cheek, "never" I sighed then laid my head on her shoulder and slowly drifted to sleep...
