Chapter 3: A Journey Ahead

"Tina wake up, Tina wake up!" A voice says. I recognize it as Ethan's.

"Just a few more minutes" I say tiredly.

"Tina I don't have time for this! Come on get off your ass!"

I reply with me shifting to the right in the sleeping bag. I didn't want to get up, I know it's a VR world and such, but mornings are mornings. I hear grunt come form Ethan's mouth, he walks off and leaves me in peace. I hear a him fiddling with stuff in the campsite. His footsteps come back towards me, then I feel something wet explode in my face.

"Ahhhh" I scream, high pitched. Did he just do what I think he did! Did his just splash a bucket of water on me! I toss the blanket off me and swiftly stand up from the sleeping bag. And I give Ethan my stare, the stare. The one that shall imprint into his mind, and that will never clear his thoughts.

"Seriously, what's with that face" He says giggling.

Ok.... Maybe I'm not that intimidating, as I think I am.

"Never mind, can I at least have a towel" I say rolling my eyes.

"You may want more than a towel.... You might want a bath instead"

"What did you spill on me!" I rage. I take my sleeve of my dress and sniff it, yep that smell is definitely not normal. I realize that I could smell scents in this VR world too. That is so cool!

"Actually I have no idea.... All I know is that it smells" He shrugs.

"How am I supposed to bath, there is no water a round!"

"Actually there is a small waterfall not far from here, about a two minute walk to be precise. That's one of the reasons I set up camp here."

"Ok thank you, But don't think this will get you off the hook Mister!" I glare.

He hands me a towel and directs me where to go. I walk down the path, towards where he directed. The fallen leaves and grass, crunch beneath my feet as I walk. The birds chirp and the squirrels squeak in the canopy of the forest. This view of this forest will never get old, it is so beauteous. I hear the sound running water from afar. I peer around a tree and see a glorious sight. The waterfall was more fascinating than I imagined. There was a watering hole with water almost as clear as glass. A small waterfall douses it self into the watering hole. Bushes and flowers surround the waterfall to give it the perfect touch. I step onto flat slabs of stone to get down to the water, they were almost like stairs. The cool water touches my toes. I peer into the clear water, I could see my reflection perfectly. I could see my long light blue hair, my blue eyes that are kinda cat-like from the race I choose, my round face, my pale pinkish-white skin. Wow my avatar looked just like body in the real world. Everything except the white cat ears and tail from the neko race I chose, but they are so cute! I make ripples in the water reflection with my hand and continue with the task at hand. I swiftly take off my dress off my body, and lay it in the water to clean it.  With my under clothing still on, I step one more slab down, then dive in. The water surrounds me giving me a cold comfort, I poke my head from the shallow water, lie on my back and float. I close my eyes, and let the water guide my body.

I step out of the water, warm air touches my skin. I surround myself with the towel, wrapping myself like a burrito. I Walk towards my dress that's now hanging.When I touch it, I discover it's half way dry from the sun. I unhang my dress and slide it on.
