My head stirred as I opened my eyes. I expected to wake up back in my room in Maine but sadly I opened my eyes to see myself in a creamy colored room the was the blandest of the bland I groaned and rolled out of my plain bed and onto the floor.

Why did we have to move to Miami? We not Russia or Beacon Hills or Hogwarts. Why Miami?

I don't really have anything against Miami it's just no Narnia.

No, I didn't actually expect a place like Narnia when my mom told me we were moving.

All though. That would have been awesome.

The only real reason I think my mom wanted to move was to get away from my dad.

I look up to my clock to see what time it was.

7:04 A.M

SHOOT!

I'm going to be late on my first day at my new school. I need to get ready quickly.

But it's so comfy in my blankets.

No inner voice! No!

Mom will kill us both if we don't get ready soon.

I try to get out of my blanket but I appear to be stuck in the infamous burrito.

I wiggle my way out and run over to my dresser.

Since we are still unpacking we didn't have much time to put stuff away.

I grab a random shirt and some acid washed Hot Topic jeans.

I quickly change into them and run over to my bathroom. I look in the mirror and see my blue and black hair completely messed up.

I grab a hairbrush that was on the counter and began to brush my hair.

After I'm done with that I do my makeup.

After in finally done with that grab my combat boots and a pair of socks and ran downstairs.

I grab my backpack and a piece of toast that's waiting for me.

I go to garage and see my mom waiting in the car. I open the passage seat door and hop in.

My mom was wearing her business lady outfit.

I shoved my toast in my mouth and start to put on my boots.

"You're lucky Lily. 5 more seconds and I would have left without you"my mom said driving out of the driveway.

I muffle out a 'I'm sorry' and finish tying my shoes.

I turn on the radio to my CD and start playing Sleeping With Sirens.

My mom and I hum along to the music since we are both tired and don't the energy to sing.

My mom pulls up to the front of school and stops.

"You sure you don't any help?"my mom asked nervously for like the millionth time.

"Yes mom. I'm 68% positive"I say walking into the school.

I get out the scheledue and map
of the school trying to find my home room.

Let's see. Room 19. Nope.

Room 22. No but getting closer.

Room 24. Ding ding ding!

We have a winner!

I watch as a teacher enters the room and looks at me.

"Are you Lilith Sparks?"she asked me.

I nodded ad she smiled.

"Wait out here and I'll tell you when to come in"she said walking into the classroom.

I wait a few seconds before I hear her say "Today we have a new student"

Welp, guess that's my que.

I slowly walk in the room looking at everyone in the classroom.

Once I was standing next to the teacher she said "Go ahead and introduce yourself"

"Hi. I'm Lilith Sparks"
