Chapter 3 Waking Up

Logan's Point of View

   I wake up in a white room. My nose burning of the smell of alcohol and I stand up, ripping cords out of my body and realize I'm in a hospital gown.

  

   "Damn..." I hiss through my teeth and stretch my left leg, it having a horrible cramp.

  After that I change into my clothes which was on the counter in a neat pile and walk outside. Finding nobody in sight. Hearing distant child-like screeches. As if on instinct I start sprinting to the sound.

   As I jump over the cars I land on my feet in a pile of leaves with everyone around it. As someone's young pup is crying.

   "ALPHA?!!" One women called I looked at everyone as they stared at me with wide eyes

   "Uhh Yeah?" everyone then runs to me and I get piled in a huge hug.

   After getting everyone off me, I go into the pack house, going straight to Maddix' room and walk in. seeing a sleeping Maddix sprawled out and walk to him,

  

   "Maddix..." I say while poking him in the cheeks

I keep repeating his name until he grabs me and flips me to where I'm beside him on the bed,  he then wraps his arms around my waist and nuzzles his face in my neck, making me chuckle run my fingers through his hair.

   After a couple minutes of just laying there I fall asleep.

  After I woke up, I looked down to see that Maddix was still sleeping. I was then reminding about the small pup from earlier and mink-linked my dad and asked what happened, the young pup was having its first stages of its shift... I cringed inwardly. That sounds... painful.

  I try to get up but Maddix had his arms tightly around my waist like a vine.

 

  "Maddix" I whine but he doesn't budge. Making me sigh and lay my head on his chest, he makes this noise and I look up at him, then I kiss all over his face until he wakes up,

  "What the- Logan?" he asks, with his morning

  "The one and only!!" I say laughing as he laughs.

  "Why are you in here?" he asks, I unwrap his arms from my waist and st on his stomach,

  "I came in here to look for you but when I trying to get you up you pulled me down and snuggled me like I was a teddy bear!" I say

  "Oh... sorry!!" he say while I laugh and lay my head on his chest,

   "You know... we should be at school right now." he says while rubbing my back,

  "Lets go!!" I say and jump up and run to my room in the pack house hand slip on my dark grey skinny jeans and black hoodie (I have a tank under it!!) and a dark grey beanie and go back to Maddix' room, only to see him still in his pajama pants,

  "You coming?" I ask as he shakes his head,

  "Nahh my brother isn just gonna sick his friends on me..." he says,

   "Whats their homeroom? I might know them" I say

  "Mrs, Fizz... there is 3 of them David, Nathan, and Tanner..." he says as I nod,

  "Im gonna go kick their ass!!" I say as I run out of his room, him protesting while chasing me, I run all the way to the school and up the stairs, Maddix still behind me and bust into the room. And recognize that there are only weres in here...
