Why Me?

"Baby, don't lose faith. Live. P-Please." Louis' voice cracked. She slowly picked her hand up and softly caressed his cheek. Louis shut his eyes and shuddered from her warm touch. A single tear rolled down his cheek as she wiped it away. "Babe, it's not your fault. It's no ones fault. It's normal. I promise I'll keep living to take care of her and you. I promise." she said weakly. Louis opened his eyes and found her smiling. His heart warmed up.

Suddenly, a noise cane from the heart monitor. Louis snapped his head to the machine and a single line came up. Louis' own heart broke once again into millions of pieces. Tears tumbled down his cheeks, uncontrollably. He rested his head in his hands. "Y-ou pro-mised." he sobbed. "Hey, ma-Louis?" Louis heard Liam's voice. "Sh-e's d-ead, Liam. DEAD!" Louis yelled, running past him. The rain poured down of the sky as he ran home. He swung the door open as he shut it closed.

"ZAYN!" he yelled. He ran upstaris and found Zayn with his 2 year-old in her bedroom. "Mate, how is she?" he asked Louis. He kept silent and grabbed the baby from Zayn. Louis whispered in Zayn's ear, "She's...dead." More tears escaped from his eyes. "Daddy, where's mummy?" the little girl asked Louis. "Don't cry, Daddy." she pleaded. "She's in a better place."
