LET'S BEGIN SHALL WE?

CHAPTER ONE: LOVE IS BLIND.

People call love many things. Amazing, brilliant, unconditional, and cute. All those sweet little words, instead of the true words they mean. Blind, cruel, unforgiving, Oh yes, many names for such a four little letter word for so many meanings that it lost its only one true meaning, bitter.

I'm in the back of the car settling down. It's a dark brown 2006 Toyota. "Where are we going?" I ask him. Though I shouldn't be surprised, he's my aunt's butler, or maybe even her lover he certainly acted like it when I was around. Though he doesn't answer me. "Hmm, did my aunt finally give you gray hair from all the stress, or did it develop with time?" I ask him as I crack a smirk.

Still no response.

I sigh and lean the left side of my temple onto the clear wide window glass that's absolutely clean but filled with dirt and smudges in the corners. I look to the sky and see a murk one. "I hate to inform you but, your uncle has passed." I pick my head up and look to the back of the driver's seat as if I was looking at him with hatred. I didn't really pick up a response, or even think of it I just let those four words sink in; your uncle has passed. Uncle has passed. Your uncle passed.

YOUR UNCLE HAS FUCKING PASSED.

The words would only become louder and louder and more violent as I thought of them. My uncle? My uncle Richard? If I wasn't so drugged up on antipsychotics, Prozac and many other colorful pills I was forced to swallow today I'm pretty sure I'll be losing my head right about now... wait a minute, I believe that already happened.

"You will be staying at your aunt's house, until further notice," Benard says.

"How does this not surprise me?" I ask him.

***

We finally arrive at this shithole that looks like a crazy four-story mansion because it is. It's just the inside that's the shithole. Pretty outside and fucked up on the inside, I know a lot of people like that, I'm one of them. Same with Von and Zina, are the only other fucked up people on the inside that I know, though they're more aggressive than I am.

I see Aunt Sue up there drinking from a wine glass, with ruby red wine in it. Her hair is buried under her earlobes and has no bangs. Her forehead is shiny like the rest of her glowing body is. She's wearing her usual tight skirt and long-sleeved work shirt as usual. I can see her as her death glare comes to me and sits on me like a bad omen.

A smile is wiped on her lips as I'm forced to walk by Bernard. "Well go on," He says as he's holding my right arm. "Go organism." He yells at me. His grip getting firmer and harsher on my bicep. I turn my head and shoot a death glare.

"I'm not an organism." I groan.

"You certainly are a living thing, that has or certainly can develop the ability to act or function independently, you just don't choose to." He smirks.

I roll my eyes and walk faster from him and go up the brown four stairs as I hold onto the rail. "Such dirty clothes. I can't believe you still fit them after all these years." Aunt Sue smirks. Fortunately, this isn't her house, it's Aunt Claire's, though she isn't any bitterer than she is. I look all around the place.
