Shirin's point of view

  Hi, I'm Shirin, what I am? Well you can say I'm not human to start off, I have antlers that resemble branches, pale pink hair and fur, a almost white tail and hooves of the deer, I only have fur around my ankles the rest is bare skin. For the most part I'm like a cantar. My dad is a cantar his name is Buru and my mom is Mizu, but she was a Water spirit. I bet your asking how did bucking bronco and graceful water spirit have a forest spirit, well the answer is I don't know? My guess is that my father had the Forest spirits babysit me and they soon accepted me as their own, so, they taught me their ways and what it is like to be a Forest spirit so I slowly became one. My parents were perfectly fine with this because my mom knew that I was nothing like a water spirit and I'm not hard-headed and hot-headed like my dad. But when I turned 14 years old everything changed. Some humans were in the forest and found out about my family but not about me and my pet Kaze, he is a wind dragon. Basically he is like an interactive puff of smoke that looks like a dragon. So while  I was out taking care of some wounded animals and listening, helping the trees, the human went inside my home and kidnapped my parents for experimentation. It was sad when I came home that day!

It's been many months since that day. Me and Kaze are doing quite well on our own. After some time of virtual school, I got accepted into Ouran High school. That was when I met a boy with rugged black hair and cat ears with a stubby black tail named, Akuma oddly enough he was demon, to be exact a really cute one, even though I have never seen one before. Kaze wasn't too sure about this whole idea of me going to a human school. WHAT!? It's not like there is a school for the non-human in a human world.

I have really gotten used to going here. It has been almost over a year, Kaze does still not like it here, I have my own dorm next to this little boy with blonde hair and the cutest smile and bunny plushy that he takes everywhere. Every time I finish with my homework, I come home hearing Kaze nagging about the latest catfight and these red headed twins that won't leave him alone when he goes out wondering around the school campus. My dorm isn't that big. It has a living room which a very interesting designed vanilla colored chair and couch, and a hardwood table, to the left there an arched door that leads to a small kitchen and inside it there is a dingy white stove and dishwasher, a stainless steel sink, a shiny black mini fridge, and four soft wood cabinets for pot, pans, dishes such as plates bowls cups etc., and cleaning stuff, then if you go back to the living there is a door with bright  green vines with pretty pale purple flowers painted on it, this door leads to my room slash Kaze's room inside this room there a full-sized bed with a blanket made with bits of woven milk worm silk and butterfly silk sewed together with string made from goat wool that is tied dyed with the smooshed dais, rose, violet, tiger lily, and poppy petals a dark oak book shelf for my flower sticker covered laptop and all of my books and Kaze's bed with is technically like a doll bed that I molded out of clay and a blanket made random pieces of scrap fabric sewed together with thin strips of rose, poppy, and daisy stem braided together.
I was walking home with Akuma and a tree fell down in front of us screaming, I looked over at him and he shook his. How come he couldn't hear the poor young tree scream? I bet you could hear it miles away. Ok so where was I? Oh right, so me and Akuma tried to save the tree from dying but by the time me were able to save it, it was already dead. I stared at it for a bit trying not to cry because I was a forest spirit and our jobs were to care for the forest and everything in it. So we continued to walk home  while watching this tall blonde man trying charm this smaller girl with short black hair who didn't really seem very interested in his non sense words. We both laughed at him when he was still talking but she was already long gone.

When I got home and I found the small blonde boy and his bunny was inside my dorm. I tilted my head and calmly walked over to him and gently tapped his shoulder and noticed that he was crying. "I CAN'T FIND MORI!" He screamed then sobbed even more, the tears just poured down his face and seemed like they would never stop as he tightly hugs what looks like a pink little bunny plushie made from cotton and polyester fibers. "Ok, ok calm down. Who are you?" I says kindly smiling while crouching down to try to hear him better. The little boy stopped crying and looked up at me with tear filled eyes, he sighs and wipes the tears away "Honey, and this is Usa-chan." He says shily while pointing to himself then at his pink bunny that he was hugging tightly again. I smile then stood up and looked around to see if Kaze was around. He floated into the kitchen but stopped at the kitchen door away then turned around and stared blankly at Hunni while holding a Latte. "What. In. The. World. Of. Spirits." Kaze says slowly stunned. "Kaze, this is Honey. He says he needs helping finding someone named, Mori." I say while looking down at Honey who was sitting on the ground cuddling with his bunny plush. Right after I said that two red headed twin boy busted into the room and darted towards Honey with open arms, a tall muscular man with rugged black hair shortly followed behind them and picked up Honey and spinned him around. I tilted my head in confusion, "Excuse me, but who are you guys and why are you my dorm?" I asked smiling. They all turn their heads to me and stares at me for a bit before the twins gives Honey to the tall man with black hair. "The better question is who are you and why was Honey in here" The red headed twins say at the same time with there arms crossed. "Sorry, I'm Shinrin. I can't tell you why or how Honey was in here, I just came home today and he was here. You can even ask him" I say bowing my head in respect knowing that they could get me kicked out of the school.

"Guys please don't be mean to her, she was trying to help me find Mori before you came in here" Honey says finding his face behind the tall man's back. "Ok, makes sense. Well I'm Hikaru and that's Kaoru" Hikaru says while pointing to his brother then points to the man holding Honey, "That is Mori, and you have already met Honey and Usa-chan." I nodded calmly before looking at the door and seeing to other in the door of the living, there was a small girl with short black hair and she was staring staring straight at my hooves, there was a tall blonde man with his hand on her shoulder, and slightly taller man that looked around  my height also looking at my hooves but instead he was taking notes and examining them.

"Oh hey Haruhi" Kaoru says smiling as he walks over to her. The man that was behind the short girl with black hair walked over to me, "What is your name ma'am? What kind of shoes are those?" He asked me while holding his pen to a white piece of thick paper on a fake wooden clip board. "I"m Shinrin, and those are my actual feet. May I ask who you are?" I says confused. He pushed up his glasses and his eyes soon became invisible through them. "I am Kyoya, assistant of Tamaki and the vice president of Ouran High Schools' Host club" He said proudly in a deep tone he then continues "If I do recall, you said that those are your feet, if so you must not be human which mean you are a spirit of some sort. Because you have hooves as feet and you have antlers this means you are a Forest Spirit to be exact" I look at him flabbergasted.

"Yes that is correct" I said with my hand over my heart. My heart rate sped up and slowed down at an unusual pace. Kaze slowly floated out of the room and into my room still holding the Latte that he earlier. "If it is okay by you, I am fairly curious on why a Forest Spirit would come to Ouran High School, I would to set up an meeting date in the room 24 A, tomorrow at exactly 3 P.M. You can not be a minute late." Kyoya said with a stern voice and  continued to write down notes about something for something, all I could do was nod my head.

I was obviously very confused by what was happening in my dorm but once everyone left it was finally just me, Kaze, and some weird note that Kyoya left about when and where our meeting point. I picked up the note and stared at it for bit before setting on the small folded piece of page my computer desk and started to type on my Wattpad story that I started yesterday. My story is about a human boy who falls in love with a much older man, the two end up dating and it becomes a wonderful and happy relationship. Kaze lets out loud and heavy sigh which made me jump and giggle afterwards. I looked down at Kaze and smiled while continuing to type on the computer, I looked back at the computer screen and opened a new tab and turned on Pandora, I then clicked on one of my radios I have created called End The Day. I listened to it tapping my foot to the different beats the different songs ranging from rock, to dubstep, to hip hop, there was almost any kind of music in there except country and classic rock. One of my favorite songs that I have heard in that radio was Six Feet Under by Like A Storm. I calmly hummed to the songs after a while I soon fell asleep at the computer my headphones still on. I fell asleep for about 3 hours before waking up and looking at my computer seeing it is 3 o'clock in the morning. I slowly made my way out of my computer chair and into my bed and curled up into a little ball.

I slept for what seemed like being seconds but really was 7 hours. It didn't help that I have been so stressed out from being a  different species than everyone else here. I slowly sat up and stretched looking over at my alarm clock seeing that it's 10 o'clock in the morning. I let out a sigh of relief since I don't have any classes today.
