~*Sayuri*~
About a month passed with the same activities every single day. First I’d go to morning cheerleading practice, late; then I’d attend classes and try not to fail; after that there’s afternoon cheerleading practice; then lastly I spend the rest of the day with Sasuke in the confines of my room.
Strangely enough, the repetitive schedule didn’t bore me after a few days. Maybe it was because I was with Sasuke and that never got boring or repetitive, or maybe it was because every day with Sasuke, I always seemed to learn something new. Well, since those are practically the same thing, I can say that Sasuke kept me un-bored; I doubt that’s a word, but I’ll have to go with it.
You know, as some random person once said; “All good things must come to an end”. I’m really starting to hate whoever wrote that. Meanwhile it was like karma was laughing at me because before a full month of total enjoyment passed Sakura was bugging me about the next big event; Homecoming.
Personally, I had thought homecoming was supposed to come earlier in the year, until Sakura told me that Konoha high was a weird school that decided that they didn’t want to follow tradition and instead have their Homecoming dance during the end of the year, closer to prom. What idiots, in my opinion. It is those same idiots that caused Sakura to turn into a total school event ridden fangirl earning for something she can never have.
About a week to prom she suddenly decided she wanted to get a whole new wardrobe for Homecoming week. I had no idea what she was talking about until I saw a very colorful poster in front of the gym one day.
It was a very colorful poster advertising Homecoming week: Monday was to be Career Day; Tuesday was Twin Day; Wednesday was school spirit day; Thursday was stereotype day and Friday was class color day along with a pep rally that the cheerleading team was to perform.
The week passed quite festively; it was also pretty funny, but I bet it would’ve been funnier if Sasuke actually participated. Too bad he didn’t. Then again, one person wouldn’t matter if the whole school participated, and that’s exactly what happened. You can bet that I dressed up for the events, but I didn’t go all out like Sakura did for stereotype day; she dressed as the slutty head cheerleader. She and Ino had practically the same idea.
Basically, the whole week went great, until I remembered that I had a ton of shopping to do. It definitely didn’t help that it just happened to be with Sakura. It would’ve worked out somewhat well, even with an unimaginable amount of annoyance spreading around, if I hadn’t promised TenTen that I’d go shopping with her and Hinata. Too bad I did.
Meanwhile, all I really wanted to do was go up to my room to find Sasuke doing who knows what in there. I will smack him so hard if he disrupts the peace of my room!!
I didn’t really have time to go home before Sakura kidnapped me and took me all the way to the mall with her and Ino talking extra loud about what Sasuke-kun would say about her dress, and if he would like it. Ugh, they annoy me.

It’s surprising how boring the day becomes without Sayuri to say something weird and totally unexpected. For the day while she goes shopping with the fangirls, I guess you could say I was bored. I had no choice but to half listen to what Miho was saying about me asking Sayuri to Homecoming.
I told her there was no way I would do that; why would I ask someone to go to something I probably wouldn’t even show up to?
She had a simple answer. I should just go. Again, I told her there was no way I would be doing that since that’s where all the fangirls gather once a year, excluding prom. Basically it’s a place I do not want to be.
