As soon as Emma and Hook reached the bottom of the beanstalk Snow embraced Emma and started yelling at her. "Emma, what the hell? Why did you tell Mulan to cut down the beanstalk? You could've died! She could have killed you! And don't even get me started on how worried I was. I was pretty much ready to climb up myself!" Emma pulled out of Snow's embrace. She had never seen her mother so angry and it scared her. "Mum calm down I'm alive and well. And as for why I told her to cut down the beanstalk I did it to protect you. I didn't want the giant getting down and hurting you." Snow nodded in understanding. "Now can we please set up camp, I am so tired." Mulan lead the way to a clearing that she said would be a good place to rest. Emma offered to take first watch but Snow said she needed to rest so Hook took first watch instead. After everyone was asleep Emma stopped pretending to be asleep and walked over to Hook. "Emma?" Hook asked. "I thought you were asleep." Emma laughed at this, she must've been good at pretending. "Nup, I was just waiting for everyone to fall asleep so I could have some alone time with you. Now come with me." Hook stood up and followed Emma to another clearing a fair way away from their camp. "What are we doing here?" Hook asked, clearly confused. "Finishing what we started on the beanstalk." Emma's lips crashed onto Killian's kissing him hungrily and Killian kissed her back just as passionately. Soon they were both lying on the ground. "Killian, I need to tell you something," Emma said in between kisses. "What?" Hook asked moving his mouth to her neck and then her shoulder. "I, I think I might love you," Emma said nervously, scared that he wouldn't feel the same way. "I think I love you too." Emma moved her head to look into Killian's eyes and she could see that he was telling the truth.
A Few Days Later At Lake Nostos
"Hook!" Emma yelled as Cora knocked him unconscious. Emma ran as fast as she could over to him. "Hook, please wake up!" Emma yelled while shaking him. He wasn't waking up and Emma started to worry. She put her head to his chest, but felt nothing. His heart had stopped.
"No, no, no, no, no! Hook! Come on Hook, wake up!" Hook didn't move. he just lay there, not moving, not breathing. Emma then just broke down completely. She cried and cried, not paying any attention to what was happening around her. How could she? The man she loved had just died in her arms. Just like Graham. That was the last thought Emma had before she passed out.
Emma awoke to voices talking but she struggled to make out their owners. "Is she alright?" A voice that sounded like Henry's asked. "She'll be fine," Mary-Margaret said. "She's probably just in shock."
"Why? What happened over there?" This time it was David who asked. "I'm not sure if I should say," Mary-Margaret said uncertainly.
"Why not?" Henry asked. That's when Emma decided to intervene. "Because I don't want anyone to know. Not even Mary-Margaret." Mary-Margaret was about to say something but Emma cut her off. "Yes I know you know the basic reason but there was more to it." Emma could feel the tears returning but she held them back. She wouldn't let Henry see her crying. Emma sat up and got out of the bed. "Where are you going?" David asked. God, ever since she'd found her parents she hadn't been allowed to go anywhere without them knowing. "For a walk. I'll be back soon." With that Emma left the house and started to walk along Main Street.
Emma was walking along the main street of Storybrooke when she noticed something out of the ordinary. Over in the distance a bird was sitting in thin air. Although Emma had redifined her definition of ordinary ever since she found out that her parents were Snow White and Prince Charming and she went to the Enchanted Forest through a hat. But still a bird sitting on thin air was strange. Even in the Enchanted Forest. The bird seemed to be near the docks, so Emma, being the sheriff, decided to take a look. Once Emma reached the docks she started to look around. The bird was still there, just sitting there watching her. Then it hit her. There was something invisible there and the bird was sitting on it. But what could it be? Emma was determined to find out. She went to the edge of the Jetty and reached out towards the area the invisible object was. Her hand came into came into contact with something that felt like wood. Emma moved her feet so they were standing on the invisible platform. As she shuffled her feet forward she discovered that she was standing on steps. Carefully she began to climb them. Once she reached the third step the invisible object revealed itself. The object was in fact a ship, and judging by the flag it was the Jolly Rodger. He had told her about it. About how once it was called the Jewel of the Realms. He had also told her that it was in the Enchanted Forest. So how was it here? Emma decided to find out. She walked over to the door with the word 'Captain' written on it in fine, elegant, gold script. She pushed the door open and what she saw made her gasp.
