~Chapter 1~
"Happy Birthday Mia" Brody shouted from across the hall. Brody is my older brother, he is also my only friend.
I don't have any real friends, because nobody is like me [fat+acne]. Everyone at my school is perfect, flawless skin, thin, and perfect bone structures. On everybody's 16th birthday they turn pretty. I don't know how this transformation occurs, but I am anxious to find out.
"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Mia, happy birthday to you!" mom and dad sang as they brought me my breakfast consisting of pancakes and hot chocolate
"thank you, I love you guys."I said as the hugged me, then left so I could get ready.
After I finished my delicious breakfast I hopped into the shower. I then blow-dried and straighten my hair. After I applied a small amount of makeup I tossed on some skinny jeans, and a cute flowy blouse.
"Brody I'm ready, can you drive me to school." I asked as I stood in the doorway of his room, "Ya sure I just need to give you something." Brody handed me a small box wrapped in a light blue paper, with a fluffy white ribbon. Inside of the box was a bracelet with my name carved into, it said 'Happy 16th birthday, Love your big brother Brody' and it was decorated with Peridots, my birthstones "thank you so much Brody, this is the best birthday ever! come on or we will be late to school!"
When we arrived at school Brody left and went to hang out with his friends, the popular kids. When the bell rang I went to my first period class art, art is my favorite class of the day, it also happens to be the only class I'm good at. I sat down in my usual spot in the back of the class.
"Good morning class, today is a free day you can choose any project, painting, sculpting, or sketching, all right get to it." Mr.George said. I choose to paint a picture of the Eiffel Tower. I have always wanted to visit Paris, and I always find myself dreaming about going there.
Rrrriiiinnnngggg! "Alright class put your project a on the back counter an have a nice day."
The day flew by in a blur. I was expecting today to be different then every other day, but everyone treated me the same. tonight Brody is throwing me a 'surprise party'. It's not a surprise because he is not very discreet.
"Hey sweetie do you want to go to the mall, and spa?"my mom asked. shopping and relaxing is all my mom ever dose. "Ya sure, sounds fun."
My family is very wealthy, so we are able to afford many unessesary shopping trips. We have a butler for cooking, and cleaning, we also have a gardener and security guard. My families fortune came from my grandparents, when they died they left us there business, mansion, and giant fortune of money.
"Hey mom, I'm scared to become beautiful like everyone else, what happens in the transformation?" my mom looked at me with a blank stare.
"Honey I am not able to tell you what is going to happen, that is for you to find out. The change will happen at exactly 10:24pm, the time you were born." The rest of the ride was silent.
When we arrived at the mall we headed to some of my favorite stores (Abercrombie, American Eagle, bear minerals, Burberry, etc.)
"Hey mom can we go get a snack I'm hungry". I complained, we have been shopping for 1 hour and I'm starved.
"Ya sure we can get Cinnabon's an the go to the spa." mom said.
"Mom can we not go to the spa I'm not in the mood." my mom just looked at me like I was crazy, but she agreed.
By the time we got home, all I wanted to do was sleep, but I knew there was a party I was supposed to attend.
I opened the door and almost had a heart attack there were drunk teenagers everywhere, dancing, and flirting with each other. All of the drunken teens yelled a slurred "SURPRISE!"
I made my way to Brody and dragged him away from all of his girl toys. "Brody I appreciate all of this, but you know I don't drink or do drugs." he just smirked at me and chuckled"Mia please have a drink just one, I want you to enjoy the party you only get one 16th birthday." I just glared an grabbed the beer from his hand" just one" I said.
Who knew that beer was so good! I've had maybe a few to many but I can't stop now I'm having so much fun. I made my way to the dance floor and i started having a horrible back ache. The pain got worse so I went up to my room to lay down.
By the time I reached my room my back ache was unbearable and I was having muscle spasms I looked at the clock and the time said 10:23 it was only 1 minute before my mom said the change would occur. "Aaaaaahhhhh" my body began to tremble, my bones began to snap. all of a sudden I transformed onto some kind of monster I looked into my mirror and saw some kind of wolf. All of a sudden everything went black.
