What Happened After

Chapter One

     "I have a question for you." I said to my best friend. He almost immediately replied, "ok, shoot!" I hesitated a bit. "Well, have you ever like, I don't know. I guess I'm trying to ask if you've ever met someone and just about forgot everything about yourself?"
     Ryen didn't reply for ten minutes. "Gosh Andie! You probably sounded really stupid!" I said to myself.
     Finally! Ryen had finally replied. Guess what he said. He just said "Oh idk, sure why not." So, I answered maybe a bit sassily, "That's not an actual answer, idiot!"
     What I said might have been sassy. Or maybe a bit rude? Ugh! Why do I do that? Oh, I'm sure he knows it wasn't supposed to be rude, or sassy, things just kind of come out of my mouth like that. I think he knows that. After all we've been best friends since the fifth grade! We are both about twenty-four, so we've been friends for a long time.
     Anyway, once again I was waiting for him to reply. This time I waited for half an hour! Why was it taking so long? Was he mad at me? Is he busy and just doesn't want to tell me? I don't get it.
     "Andie, hey, sorry it took so long for me to reply, I was thinking about your question. My answer is yes. Yes I have." Ryen said, as if he was kind of, I don't know, sad? I quickly questioned him again. "When? Who? I have to know Ryen!" "Well," he said, "when I first met you Andie..."

[A/N] Hey guys, I'm really sorry, if that was a bit long, but I prefer longer chapters rather than the short ones. Also this is my first book, and I'm honestly not the biggest fan of reading and writing but, I decided to give it a try. So one last thing, Andie is a girl, and then you have Ryen her best friend, and his name, which I think is obvious, is pronounced like Ryan. Alright love you!
