Chapter 1

Edward Jackson was a nice loved man who was tall with brown hair ,deep dreamy blue eyes that say mysterious and a smile that breaks you couldn't forget .

He was on his horse riding into town, the whole town was up and in the middle of town crowding around something.He got off his horse and walked over to the horse post near the barber shop he tied the reins and walked to the commotion and saw the town throwing rocks at 3 young native american women.

 Edward looked over to see Mr.brown the barber watching from his shop he walked over asking "what is going on "the barber saw Jackson coming "well one of the men in the grocery store claim he caught them stealing bread in there bags "he said as he looking head still watching".

Edward was looking at one of the women for the longest time and finally asked Mr.Brown "how long has this been going on?" Mr.Brown replied with"maybe 30 minutes"as he starts to walk away from the crowd to go back in side"some one has to stop this non-sense"as he starts heading over there .

A town sheriff  quickly grabbed his shoulder saying"Don't do anything stupid boy"Edward looked at him saying"well morning sheriff i would like it if you didn't have you're hand on me as he nudge it off and walked through the crowd and walks up to the women that were on the floor covering there heads. 

He looks at them and slowly kneels down and lays a hand softly on the woman and she lifted her head up to look at him the other 2 also looked at him as he said"everything is going to be alright now come on "He helps them up and walks with them past all the people one of the women said"Gi zah gin"she smiled soft "you're welcome ma'ma" he also told the barber he was giving his wagon to them  as he hooked his horse up to the wagon and helped the women  onto the carriage and said"gift from me too you for what happened today you ladies have a nice day"as he smacked the horses ass and the horse started moving away until it.

Edward turned the town was looking at him and started moving and going about(did i mention Edward was the mayor's son?)Edward smiled soft and headed to the mayors office , but he was stopped by the sheriff stepping in his way"that might be the most stupidest thing you have down for your crime you should be punished"he shouted.Edward looked at him smiled and continued to walk inside his dad office.

"Morning father"as he shouted through the building while  walking to the small liquor shelf and poured him self some scotch in a glass taking a swig and going to sit down.  

he could hear foot steps coming down from the stairs and looked over to see a young blond zipping up her dress and fixing her self before walking out side Jackson chuckled to him self"Morning ma'ma as he raised his glass. his father soon followed behind paying the young blonde lady  before she left he smacked her ass as he walked to his liquor shelf and got him self something as well"Morning son what brings you in today" as he sits crossed from him .

"well i came to see how you were doing and getting some food before heading back out to the ranch, also what bugged me today was that the sheriff caught 3 native women stealing "he said as he looked at his father taking drink of his whiskey. "well they probably deserved it son filthy savages he said taking another swig of his drink. Jackson looked at his father in disbelief"how can you say that they're people to dad they didn't steal the sheriff was looking for trouble and i Refuse to be your son if you let this go on any further!!"as he stood up and started to walk out"GET back here right now you disrespectful spoiled boy"he shouted in anger.

he turned and looked at him in anger as well"you will treat me with Respect I'm sorry you feel that way ,but son there Indians they are not to be trusted you know that!now get out of my sight before i change my mind about throwing your ass in jail "he said deeply.

Jackson walked out slamming the door he walks to his horse and rode off back to his home once he got there he put his horse back in the barn taking the saddle off and everything.he heard a stick break out side he turned and said who is out there!?!"he started walking closer to the barn door and walked out of it to the carriage and the horses and next to it was a young native woman.he took his hat off and said "morning ma'ma the carriage and horses were a gift from me"the woman smiled soft and said"thank you kind sir for helping my sisters and I'

'he smiled as he walked little closer and said"you're very welcome ma'ma what is your name? My name is Edward Jackson."she looked at him as she spoke"My name is Keya I'm the daughter of chief Kanen  and my father would like to meet with you "she says soft as she pushes her hair behind her ear.

at first Ed was very iffy about the meeting but he inhaled  soft and said "I will be honored to go with you ma'ma "he smiled and walks over to the horse carriage with the young woman he reached for her hand she looked at him and slowly took it getting on the carriage he got up sat next to her took a hold of the reins and did a kissing noise and they were off .

they both sat there in silent as it started to get darker,Keya finally spoke up"thank you again for this morning my sisters and I are eternally great full "she smiled  as she looks forward.

Edward looks over to see her holding her arms trying to keep her self warm , he took the reins in one hand and leans back in the carriage of the wagon and grabs the blanket from the back covers her with it.she takes a hold of the blanket and brings it over her head just a bit and covering her body with it.

she smiles and says "thank you ,your so kind and sweet y..you're not like the other men?"as she looks down ,he saw her look down from the corner of his eye and replies with"thats because I'm human and i care about others no matter who they are.she smiled once again.

It started to get  darker out as they see a bonfire in the distant getting bigger as they both got closer to the village. Edward pulled the carriage over to the out side of the village and got out walking to the other side taking Keya by the hand and helping her down . 

The villagers were all looking at the white man scared of him ,Edward sighed soft and said"key could you possibly tell them everything will be alright and im not here to hurt them?"as they walked with  to her father's hut she giggled soft stopped in her tracks and spoke out aloud"Uhega(white) Asgayu(man) Oginanili (friend) Ugvwlyuhi (chief) Tsilugi(welcomes)."they all Ahhhh and go back to there business.

Ed sighed in relief and said "thank you "she blushed soft and said'your welcome  her father walked out of his hut and saw them walking up to him. she smiled and ran up to him "Adoda!!!(father)she hugged him close he smiles hugging her back"is the pale one that saved you and your sisters"he asked looking at ed. Keya nudged him as he was zoned and said quickly"Y.yes chief your daughters were in danger so I helped them my gift to you are these amazing horses"the chief looked at him and replied"thank you brave pale one my name is chief Kenan what is your name"

Edward straightened his back and spoke out"Edward Jackson sir ."the chief has his hand out and said "welcome Edward Jackson stay be our guest for the night you stay in my daughter hut you leave in morning ?"he said soft.

Edward smiled looking at Keya who was blushing red"I would like that very much chief"then took the  chiefs hand smiled and said "enjoy food and stay as he turned and walked toward his hut disappearing for the rest of the night .

Edward looked over to Keya asking where her hut was she smiled and said"ill take you to it as they walked toward the river. listen Keya thank you again for letting me stay here for the night I promise I don"t snore "he said laughing as there now standing in front of her hut facing each other she looks up at him and says with a smile"your welcome Ed the village is now your home as well you are welcome anytime".

He was looking at her as he gently had her cheek in his hand moving it toward her chin gently lifting her head up to look at him.her heart started to race as he started to lean in and she continued to look at him as he now has his eyes closed getting closer.she panicked and quickly moved her head to the side."I umm should go check on the horses " as she walks away in a hurry

Edward smiles and goes into the hut taking his boots and off along with everything else leaving his trousers on laying on the bed with his hands under his head as hes looking up towards the roof finding his eyes getting heavy then eventually fell asleep.
