Chapter one

Christina was still new to town. She moved to Miami little under two years ago from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She had just started working at a night club as a bartender to bring in a steady income. Christina thought Miami was more beautiful than center city Philadelphia at night. Moving from Philadelphia meant a new beginning for her. She no longer had the constant reminder of her past. Now she could finally put behind her. Christina was a student at the performing of the arts dance academy. At a young age Christina knew she would grow up to become a dancer. That was her first love and passion. However , Christina fell in love with her second love Nafis Benson. He was her high school sweetheart. The two at first didn't as much seem like a compatible match. They had mutual friends so automatically taken a liking to each other. Around the time the young love birds met Nafis had a girlfriend named Lauren. Things weren't working out. Lauren was very insecure about the friendship he had with Christina. Nafis had enough of Lauren's bullshit and broke up with her. After breaking it off with Lauren, nafis worked up the nerve to ask Christina out on a date. The two went out that night, and ever since then they had been inseparable.

Christina stood at 5 foot even . She had Hersey chocolate skin complexion. She had a nice shape . She was slender yet she had curves. She was the best at one point of time but that all came crashing down. One day leaving the dance academy she had planned to stop by her boyfriend Nafis house. To spend an intimate night with him before he had a game in Maine against the black bears. He was about 5'7; he's dark skinned with tattoos. Nafis was a linebacker. He and Christina met in high school. The two at first didn't as much seem like a compatible match. They had mutual friends so automatically they knew each other.  Christina wasn't all about the money. He made her feel like she was the only one in his life. lately he was distant towards her. I wonder why he's been so cold to me. I remember we used to talk all hours of the day. Maybe I can change that. she thought.

"Can't wait to kiss him all over his face, tonight he might get lucky" she started chuckling at the idea. She had bought this little see through night gown to go with the night. It was almost two years in the making of the happiness. Christina unlocked the door. Normally there would be music blasting  or the loud sounds of him playing his basketball game 2k11. This time it was too quiet. It seemed odd that the apartment looked as though he hadn't been home that night. All of a sudden a loud moan was coming from the bedroom. Walking further into the room to find nafis in bed with his ex. Nafis looked up to realize Christina was standing in the door way. Pleading with her, it wasn't what it appeared to be.

"Tears rolling down her face"

"Throwing her key at his head" she tries to turn to walk away . Nafis runs after her to try to talk to her.

"babe no I'm sorry I didn't plan to hurt you please ... Lauren means nothing to me... we have history a past that cannot be broken." He said with pleading eyes

Lauren gets up the nerve to say "awe you really thought he was yours? Ha! Sweetie he's been with me the whole existence of y'all relationship"

 Puzzle with the dilemma he caused he tries to push Lauren back into the bedroom. In a split second the anger took a hold of Christina and she punched Lauren in the face. Then walked out the apartment to her car. After that night Nafis tried to find her at the dance academy. He even went to her parents looking for advice but they had shunned him. Everywhere she went he was there to try to win her back. It became too much for her. So she packed up and left Philadelphia without even looking back. She left the city with no regrets.
