"So this is the place?" Zero asked a bit skeptical, stepping out of the black SUV. He immediately felt the winter breeze burn his cheeks. He wrapped his arms around his tall slender body. Shivering, he looked over at his older brother, Levi.
"Come on, it's not that bad." Levi spoke, stepping into the artic air and on to the snow covered driveway. It sent chills down his spine, causing him to shiver in response.
He shoved one of his hand's in his black and white coat pockets, leaving the other out to carry his suitcase.
"Really Levi?" Kaoru turned to look at his brother in the freezing night air as he climbed out of the SUV, slamming the back door shut. He slowly started his way up the snow covered driveway, wheeling his bag behind him in a slow manor.
"What? Afraid there might be monsters Kaoru?" Hikaru spoke in a sarcastic tone towards his twin.
They were identical twins. Both having light brown hair. They're eyes a deep chocolate brown. They always dressed the same, making it almost impossible to tell them apart. That is if you don't know them.
They both had distinct personalities. Kaoru, although being the youngest of the two was more mature, soft spoken and grounded. Hikaru on the other hand was childish, loud and didn't really know how to control his emotions.
Hikaru quickly walked up behind his twin, shoving him forward. Kaoru went down hard, landing in a snow bank. He groaned to himself in annoyance and pain.
Kaoru slowly and carefully pushed himself free from the snow bank, brushing off the access snow. As he bent down to grab his snow covered suitcase, he saw Hikaru laughing by the front door.
Kaoru rolled his eye's, heading over to the front doors. Levi and Zero had already gone inside, leaving the two twin's alone. In all honesty, that probably wasn't there best idea. Knowing that they would most likely end up killing each other.
"Oh, come on Kaoru. It's all in good fun." Kaoru rolled his, wishing he never agreed to this trip. Especially knowing now, his older twin, by one minute, was here. On the bright side, he had his two older brothers, Zero and Levi to keep him sane.
"Hikaru, just leave me alone." Kaoru pushed past his older brother, entering the dark and dusty cabin. Taking a deep breath, he headed up the stairs, lugging his suitcase behind him. Every few steps his suitcase would get stuck, resulting in him having to turn around and free it from the railing.
Tired, Kaoru walked down the hall to his room where he would be sleeping for the next week. Placing his hand on the door nob, he opened up the door, slowly entering into his bedroom, leaving his suitcase down by the door.
He walked around to his bed, sitting down on the edge. Dust flew in the air, causing him to groan in aggravation. As he did, he heard a nock on the door.
He quickly stood up, turning his body towards his door, looking but nothing was there, that he could see anyway.
Irritated, he walked over to the door, stopping when he heard a crunching sound. He looked down at his blue converse high tops only to see what appeared to be shattered glass. He kneeled down, picking up a piece and studying it. Turning the piece over, he saw a few red specs. Not thinking it was anything important, he tossed the piece into the garbage, heading back down the hall.
As he walked down the dark and dusty hall, he heard something. Stopping in his track's, he tried to listen closely. Unfortunately, he couldn't hear it.
Ignoring it, he continued his walk to the stairs in an unsettling manor. Every few steps, looking around at his surroundings.
Again, but this time much louder, he heard it. A whisper, calling out for help. He stopped in his track's, looking around the hall for any clue as to who was calling out, but found nothing.
