I'm Anastasia Dawson. I'm just a girl in high school. I'm nerdy, with huge black glasses, greasy hair with braids. Pink and white braces. Anywhere I go in school, I would bring along some books or novels to read. I've been doing well in school. I scored well in exams. But I suck in sports. Sometimes I admire the hot guys that played well in basketball, or the girls in cheerleading.
I'm 15, which makes me a 9th grader. I've been teased by students of the school, especially 7th graders to 11th graders. Sometimes I'll be sad but a few minutes later I'll just forget about it and smile. As you can tell, I'm an optimistic girl. I have a wonderful family. I have mom, dad and my 2 years old sister, Lily Dawson.
My mom says no matter how I look, I'll always a beautiful princess in her heart. I do believe her, because I look things with positive side.
I weight about 145 lbs and I'm about 5 feet tall. People would laugh me at my weight and appearance because of my look. I don't really have any friends, only one girl. Her name is Emily Gomez. She's one year younger than me,which makes her an 8th grader.
They all stop teasing and make fun of me until the boy came into my life...
"Class, let's welcome our new student." my chemistry teacher, Mr.Smith introduced the boy to us. His name is Danny Oakes. He is quite tall, white skin, beautiful blue eyes, dark brown hair. The first time I saw him, I couldn't stop staring at him.
"Well Danny, there's an empty place beside Ana, so you can go and sit beside her." he pointed to the last row of the tables in my class.
Danny smiled and waved to my classmates. He sat next to me.
"Hi, I'm Danny, and you have a very beautiful name, Ana." he smiled at me and offer me hands to shook. I was very shocked at first. "You didn't mind about my looks?" I asked him in a low tone because I'm scared people in my class would make fun of me.
"I don't mind. Actually, I don't really have any friends too. I would be happy to be friends with you." we exchanged ideas during class, studying in the library and in the canteen.
Since he came, he's my second best friend closest to me.
