Chapter 3

C H A P T E R - 3

Cameron POV

Maneeeeee I ain't never think I'd catch Layla slipping. I stared at her while she stood in the doorway with a shocked expression.

"Alayla answer me"

"Cameron, Amani is just a boy"

"You been trifling Layla ?"

"No, Cameron !" she said defensively

"So why you texting him"

"Cam look what I said ! Chilling with my boo"

"I don't want you talking to him" I said with a straight face

"Fine, but why you looking through my phone"

"I just wanted to see"

She came up to me and snatched the phone out of my hand. I'm not surprised she's mad but I'm gonna let her calm down. I went downstairs and got in my car then drove off to the trap house, I had some business to handle. When I reached I parked the car and got out then did the secret knock on the door.

Layla POV

What girl wants her boyfriend going through her personal business, definitely not me. So, let's say I go through his phone and see thotties all in his messages. Then what ? To take my mind off of things I decided to go the mall.

"Shit" I muttered under my breath.

I took out my phone and scrolled through my contacts list till I reached 'Sienna👯' and hit call. After waiting for what seemed to be forever she finally answered.

"Yes Alayla" she said causing me to laugh.

"Hi Yenna" I cheesed hard as if she could see me.

Sienna is my cousin on my fathers side, she's my bestfriend, diary, cousin, and Pic all in one.

"What happen"

"I wanna go to the mall but I'm not home"

"Be there in 10"

I smiled. You guys are probably confused like who is Alayla, I'm Alayla people call me Layla. While waiting for Sienna I decided to call my daddy who I haven't spoken to in two days. As I waited for an answer he answered on the third ring.

"Hi daddy"

"Hey princess, wassup?"

"Waiting for Yenna"

"Waiting for Yenna for what"

"So we could go to the mall"

"Ok, Layla I'm picking you up tomorrow so we could spend the weekend together you don't have to if you don't wanna"

"I'm going daddy I won't give up spending quality time with you"

"I'm glad princess"

"Alright daddy I gotta go now Yenna's outside love you"

"Love you too be careful"

I hung up and started walking outside. When I got in the car Sienna pulled off. The ride was silent, not an awkward silence but a silence where we each were in our thoughts. My dad and I have a strong bond, even though my mother and him aren't together there's no tension between them. They both treat me like the queen I am considering I'm the baby of the family, being able to spend the weekend with my dad, makes me happy.

How many people y'all know out here that would give the world and back to at least spend an hour with their dad. Either their dad isn't around or he just doesn't give a fuck to own up and do his job, for this I am thankful that I have a father whose around and is doing his job.

"We're here" Sienna said as she parked.

As we walked into the mall full of people in our age group, I made my way to Victoria Secret.

"Layla does tigga know you and Cameron are together"

Tigga was my big brother he's 22 and I'm 17 so yeah whatever.

"Yenna i don't even know I wouldn't be surprised I mean cam and I been together 3 years now"

"True" she shrugged and laughed.

We proceeded on with our shopping throughout most stores in the mall. I walked into footlocker and looked around to see what I wanted.

"Your cute" I heard so I looked up.

"Who me"

"Yeah you"

"Thanks" I said walking away to find a worker

After I found a worker I asked for the gammas, taxis, and three pair of roshe runs in a size 6 in kids.

"So can I have your name cutie"

"Lay" I said looking at him, realizing how cute he was.

He was about 6'4, caramel complexion, straight pearly whites, and bomb ass style.

"I'm Ant"

"Nice to meet you, gotta go pay now bye"

I walked over towards the register and swiped my card then grabbed my bags and proceeded to walk out the store.

"Can I have your number"

"If that'll let you stop following me"

I put my number in his phone and walked out the mall to Sienna's car where she already was.
