Personality: He puts on a cocky and hot-headed facade most of the time, but he is plagued by deep insecurities and guilt. He doesn't talk about himself much, and refuses to. He focuses on others more than himself and will risk his health for others. He attempts to play things cool often, and doesn't like making a fool of himself. He closes himself off emotionally when things get too much for him. He will try his best to care for and help others, but often has doubts about what he's doing. He is very desensitized to most things, but he will have moments of panic if presented with anything related with blood, guns, or knives.  He views his issues as insignificant and unworthy. He has moments where he's very serious if he notices others in distress, but he does tend to be a very bold and blunt person, always speaking his mind and trying to appear very confident when doing so.

Past: Born in Novosibirsk, Russia, he was raised in a strictly Christian household. His mother attempted to convert him to Christianity, but he never felt connected to its beliefs. He always felt disconnected from everyone around him. His parents never gave him love or pride. His father had abandoned him and his mother when he was 3, and his mother had always seemed frightened or angry when mentioning his father.  She showed many signs of being emotionally unstable, crying constantly, and being very distant with Mitya and never talking to him. There were times where she snapped at the smallest mistake he made and would end up beating him. When Mitya was 5, he saw his mother trying to commit suicide. She was put in hospitalization and his aunt then took him in until a few weeks later, where he was returned to his mother. He became emotionally cold and intimidating, which scared off most people from ever interacting with him. When he was 10, he fell in love with a boy named Nikita, but due to the Christian neighborhood, Nikita received death threats and broke up with Mitya to protect them both. When he accidentally revealed this to his mother, she attacked him again. He fell into an intense self-hatred and depression He moved away after he had become 18, and it was revealed to him that his mother was raped and forced to have him. This caused him to feel repulsed and guilty, and caused him to have a more severe depression. A year later, he volunteered to fight in WWII and went into training. He was trained by a confident and light-hearted man named Sasha. Sasha ended up sacrificing himself during the Battle of Stalingrad, and Killian ended up training them. When Mitya went out to battle, he was ambushed by the Japanese and captured as a POW. He met a French man named Yanis, who tried to tear down his walls and become his friend. The two ended up working in fields and digging trenches, after Mitya tried to escape Yanis sacrificed his physical wellbeing so Mitya wouldn't die. Yanis worked without rest for weeks, and when Yanis's muscles gave out he was killed in front of Mitya. Mitya then snapped and felt into a fit of hysteria, causing him to be put in a prison-like space where he met a woman named Liu. He was constantly plagued by nightmares and flashbacks of Yanis's death, causing him to mentally deteriorate. Liu attempted to calm him and care for him, which made Mitya see her as the mother he never really had. Later, Liu was raped and impregnated. Mitya tried to help her best as he could, but she ended up becoming so traumatized that she asked Mitya to kill her to prevent the birth of the baby. He constantly refused, trying to steal a knife from her that she took from a soldier that raped her but she stabbed herself in the neck when she grabbed the handle of the knife. He finally mentally broke down, beginning to fall into a psychotic state. He began to have severe hallucinations and delusions along with flashbacks and night terrors. He was physically tortured by the Japanese, which left his legs broken and he was left to die from bamboo torture. He was found by Killian and taken to a hospital, and he was put in Killian's care.
