Not the truth

Dad's back...

When the bus finally arrived at school I had finished my science assignment that Grace kindly reminded me was due today! I said bye to Grace and Taylor and went to find Sye she is also one of my best friends. My diary says I have English first where is Sye she is always here before me because her mum drops her off.
"D! " Grace shouts from behind me.
"You forgot your science things on the bus," Grace again saves my butt.
"You are a life saver thank you soooo much"
I running out of the lockers because I am late for class and if we are late we get detention and I have no excuse.
I have already gotten two detention this term and I will get a Friday if I get many more, Sye is already sitting at our desk. We don't have set seating plan but we all know who sits where. I look forward in the teachers direction but I can't pay attention because I have just gotten a text from my dad saying he is coming to visit but he can't see my mum or Maggi he is only coming to see me. Sye brakes my line of thought whispering in my ear asking what's wrong. I don't really feel like telling anyone what my dad just sent me. "Late night" I whisper back. When English finishes I go straight to the girls bathroom. I grab out my phone and sit down on the lid of the toilet and text him back, asking him when and where he wants to meet. He texts back almost instantly saying that he would like to meet in my first free period, I text back telling him that I have a free period now and he said he is in a red Ferrari in the school car park and to come and meet him. I walk out of the toilet and tell Grace who I normally study with in this period that I have a doctors appointment and will meet her hopefully in recess. I don't really listen to what she says and I start walking out of the school. I don't know what I am going to do because I haven't seen my dad in quite a while. I walk up with my phone in my hand so I can call for help if I need it. When I get to the car park his car definitely stands out, where did he get the money for that kind of car though? When I get to the car the driver door opens and my dad gets out he waves at me and walks over I take a step back I don't know if I really want him to come so close to me." Diana " he says. Diana is my real name but I haven't gone by Diana in a long time "it's D. Where have you been? Where did you get the money for that car? what.." he interrupted me. "I will explain it all to you if you come with me we can go get coffee if you drink coffee or we can go and get cake or what ever you want. We need to catch up." He says to me. I don't know what to say, half of me what's to see him and pretend he never left and the other half is wanting to scream at him. "Can I meat you with mum?" I know mum wants to see him because I know how much she has struggled without him wether she admits it or not.
"No, I can't talk to her right now but if you don't want to see me I understand..." he looks so disappointed his head falling. "Ok I will come with you but we have 20min I need to do some work in my free period." I hope this isn't the wrong decision.
