As I pressed my lips to Micheal's, I fell. And it was by accident. Hunter had slammed me into the ground, then grabbed Micheal by the throat. His face was turning red, he couldn't breathe, my life flashed before my eyes as if I was the one choking. I jumped up and hopped onto Hunters back wailing to let Micheal go. Screaming and kicking was out of pure rage, he was out of focus enough to let Micheal go. I let go of Hunter and bolted in front of Micheal, inches shorter than Hunter, but not afraid. "If you want to hurt him you have to go through me first!" , Micheal's fingers locking with mine. Out of embarrassment, Hunter ran out of sight. I hadn't noticed it before Hunter ran, but Micheal got punched in his right eye. Turning black and blue.
Tears in my eyes, I slowly walked away hearing "Vanessa, please don't go.". I sat in a nearby bench trying to calm down but couldn't help but ran into Micheal's arms.
"I cant do this anymore! I just cant do it! I want my mom and dad, I need them right now. It's like I'm in a room, screaming at the top of my lungs but no one hears me. Or even notices." I said sobbing. within a moments notice Micheal said to me you don't need them, you have me and you always will"
