Chapter 3

*MMIP Chapter 3*

Skye's POV :

I set my iPod touch in my night stand. It was 7 in the morning for me and I have spent my whole night figuring out if I have enough money for a ticket to England.

In about a year from now I am going to making my way to England. I want to be able to finally to meet Natalie in person. Hopefully we are still friends then. Which I wouldn't be surprised if we are still friends in a year from now. After all it's been 6 years of a great friendship.

My birthday is in 2 days and I will finally be considered an adult ! I will be officially 18. I always thought Natalie was cool since she was a few months older then me.

I decided that I wanted some food. Oh who am I kidding I ALWAYS WANT FOOD !!

I ran down my stairs and skipped to the kitchen. I greeted my mom with a kiss to the cheek and a good slap to the head fort brother. After all my brother stole my pizza yesterday. He gave me an angry look as my mom and I laughed.

My dad was already at work. Which didn't bother me to much since j was used to it.

"So Skye have you got any ideas as for what you'd like for your birthday ?" My mom asked me.

"I just want cash. I have the money for the plane trip to and from England I just need money do I have a place to stay and some spending money," I stated.

My mom simply nodded.

---- later that day -----

I decided to iMessage NAT-A-GIRL since its been a few hours since we've talked.

I sent her a simple text, "HEY NAT-A-GIRL HOW YA DOIN ?!?! AHAHA LIKE YA KNOW ! HEY HOW YA DOIN SORRY YOU CAN'T GET THREW WHY DON'T YOU LEAVE YOUR NAME AND YOUR NUMBER AND WE'LL GET BACK TI YOU !!!!! AHAHA LITTLE MIX GOTTA LOVE THEM !"

See like I said. A simple text. And if your wondering,yes that is my kinda simple text.

I set down my iPod and rested my eyes for a little. I wanted to go ahead and get sleep out if the way. After all it was around 8:30 and I know Natalie wouldn't getting message until a few bourse since she was asleep.

And finally after about five minutes I was sound asleep.

Natalie's POV :

I can't sleep! I think I'm paranoid!

I don't know if my gift for Skye is gonna get there in time!!

'IM PARANOID!!' I sent back and then tried to get to sleep because it was really early!!

And DAMN I NEED MY SLEEP!!

Skye's POV:

"NATALIE!!" My family and I shouted as her face came onto screen.

"Hey Skye!! Hey Mr and Mrs Waith, hey Connor!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY SKYE!!" She said happily.

"PRESENT TIME!" Connor shouted.

Awwwwhhh he used to be so young.

My baby's all grown up!

"OKAY THEN!" I giggled happily.

I picked up a massive box that was from mom and dad and shook it gently.

I opened it slowly to reveal another box, I rolled my eyes giggling.

I I pulled out the box and opened it, finding it filled with loads of food and candy.

I saw another box and my face lit up with excitement.

This process went on for a really long time, until I had a massive pile of food laying in front of me, and a small box that fit in my hand.

I knew this was the last one, so I shook it gently again.

*clinky noises*

IT SOUNDS LIKE A CHARM BRACELET!!! EEEEKKKKK!!

I slowly pulled off the top to reveal...

Keys..?

CAR KEYS!!!

"AAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!" I screamed and showed them to Natalie for her to tell me what car it is.

"NO WAY!!" She shouted.

"WHAT CAR IS IT?!"

"A Bugatti Veyron..."

"OH MY GOD THANKS MOM AND DAD!! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!" I ran and gave them both a kiss on the cheek.

"Let's take Natalie outside, and show her your car!!" My dad said.

"EEEEEKKKK!" I screamed pouncing to my iPod touch, and running outside to be greeted by the beautiful car.

I unlocked it and jumped into the driver's seat, I noticed there was a place to hold my iPod so I put it in.

"Oh and Skye honey, check under your seat."

"Huh?" I said while fumbling around, until my hand grasped something that felt like paper.

An envelope?

I turned it around, and peeled the back up. I noticed a letter, and another envelope inside.

First I pulled out the letter and read it out loud so everyone could hear.

"Dear Skye,

I see that you got this letter, huh?

Well, this is my way of saying happy birthday to you! I could say it a million ways, but then it wouldn't be as real as in person.

You are the most amazing best friend ever, and deserve the best birthday present.

I tried my best so I hope you like it.

I can't believe I am saying this but,

meet me in Paris?

I picked up the unopened envelope, and peeled it back to reveal a ticket to Paris.

My eyes welled up with tears as I looked up to see the girl on my phone crying and smiling showing me another ticket to Paris.

"you're truly the bestest friend I could ever ask for Natalie," I said calling her by her name to show I truly meant it.

"I could say the same to you Skye," we both smiled at each other.

"oh and Skye," Natalie started.

"Yeah ?"

"we're going to be there the whole summer," she said smiling.

"YES ! LOOK OUT PARIS THESE TWO FRICKING UNICORN NINJA LOVERS ARE COMIN YOUR WAY AND WE ARE NOT LEAVING UNTIL EVERYTHING WE DO THERE IS PERFECT!!!" I yelled while making cool ninja poses and making a cool voice.

"YAH GOT DAT RIGHT SISTA!!!!!" Natalie yelled along with me before making ninja poses.

Life was great.

And it was about time I meet my best friend.
