Chapter 4

Last time on the bad girl and the good boy

"Whatever here since your staying home you  can make your bed, but do me one favor" Riley's mom asked

"And that is....." Riley asked

"You go back to your old self" Riley's mom yelled and walked out and I came out and Riley was sitting at her bay window silent looking at her feet. I feel like I haven't heard the whole story.

~Lucas's POV~
"Riley" I started to say

"WHAT" Riley yelled

"What is the whole story" I asked

"I TOLD YOU THE WHOLE STORY" she yelled

"Riley I saw you with a knife" I blurted out

Riley said nothing she just counted to look at her feet but I grabbed her hand she flinched and took her hand out of mine I looked at Riley and she looked up and looked at me "Lucas your going to be late for school" Riley told me

"I want you to be with me" I told her

"Please leave Lucas" Riley bagged "Lucas go" Riley asked me as I did.

~Riley's POV~
I was sitting at my bay window when I heard a knock I looked it was Alex he looked mad I saw his eyes it was at my desk chair Lucas's jacket "OPEN THE WINDOW OR I WILL BRAKE IT DOWN" he yelled as I opened the window and he punched me in the face I fell to the ground he laughed then he kicked me in the stomach right were my cuts were then he kicked me on the side "WHY IS THE NEW KIDS JACKET HERE" he yelled

"It's not it is my dad's" I lied

"No it's to small" he yelled

"I meant my moms" I lied again

"No it's not" he yelled

"Fine its mine" I lied again

"No it's not it is to big" he yelled but he was right

"Fine its Lucas's he forgot it" I told the truth

"DONT LIE TO ME, THIS IS YOUR PUNSH MENT" he yelled as he picked me up by my hair and punched me in the eye over and over again until I saw black.

I woke up in someone's arms, I rubbed my eyes to see LUCAS "Riley your awake" he whispered hugging me tighter

"What are you doing here" I asked

"Well I came over to see you but when I came you were passed out on the floor" he told me

"Oh" I told him biting the side of my lip

"Riley are you ok" he asked me sounding concerned

"Ya why do you ask" I asked

"Well you were on the floor passed out with a black eye" he told me

"You know what just go" I told him

"Fine" he yelled as he got up

"AND TAKE THIS WITH YOU" I yelled as I threw his jacket at him as I fell to my knees crying. 

~Lucas's POV~
"AND TAKE THIS WITH YOU" Riley yelled at me as I felt something hit my back and I left I love Riley and then she keeps getting annoyed with me. Mabey we aren't meant to be mabey Maya and I are meant to be

Lucas❤️:hey Maya um want to walk to school together tomorrow

Maya😐:ya sure Lucas let's meet at the subway

Lucas❤️:awesome can't wait

After I texted Maya I felt wrong like I was hurting Riley whatever.

~the next day~
I woke up to and got dressed after that I started to walk to the subway station when I got there Maya was there once she noticed me she came running up to me and hugged me "you ready to go" she asked

"Yup let's go" I told Maya as we started to walk out of the subway station Maya was rambling on about stuff

"So Lucas how are you liking New York" Maya asked me

"Oh it's great" I told her nodding my head back and forth as we walked into the school.

~Riley's POV~
As I walked into jail or as other people call it school. Once I walked in I saw Maya and Lucas kissing it felt like my heart was broken into 2 little pieces I speed walked to my locker but......

"Riley" I heard Lucas say, why is it always Lucas why

"Lucas" I turned around facing them fake smiling hoping Farkle would come any minute now

"Riley" I heard what I wanted to hear

"Farkle" I hugged him " thank you" I whispered in his ear

"You welcome" he whispered back "well Riley and I should go" Farkle said as we walked away fast "Riley what happened between you two" Farkle asked me

"He saw I'm a loser who doesn't deserve anyone and he would want to be with a popular girl like Maya" I told Farkle

"That is what you think well I don't think you should" Farkle told me as he walked away but when I turned around I saw Lucas

"Riley, about last night..." Lucas trailed off

"Nothing, nothing happened last night now bye Frier" I told him as I started to walk out of the school

"Riley were do you think your going" Lucas asked me

"Well a big place were I call a home" I told Lucas walking again.

~Lucas's POV~
"Riley I know Alex was at your house last night and when he left you were passed out on the ground and remember when I hugged you and you asked if I heard anything well I heard everything" I told Riley as she was looking at the ground I saw the bad girl brake right in front of me she was crying I hugged her

"LUCAS!!!" I heard Maya yell as I let go of the hug from Riley

"Maya" I started

"Why were you hugging a loser like HER!!" Maya yelled again

"Maya Riley is not a loser I love her" I yelled as I turned around but there was no Riley but the door closed.
