Portals- how tricky can they be?

We watched Eclipse try and summon another portal but she was looking really tired already. She tried twice, which both fizzled out right away,  before giving up with a sigh.

'My powers are spent right now. I need to rest" She said walking down the length of the throne room to the doors. She left without another word or glance back.

"Maybe I could make a portal" Twilight said getting up to try.

"No Twilight. You are powerful but not ready for this yet. It is still beyond you" Celestia said making Twilight sit down with a huff.

"Could you make one? I mean, it couldn't be that hard especially since you're a princess" I said with my best persuasive voice I could manage. For good luck I threw in a sweet smile and a tilt of my head. I've come to notice they respond well to this and it makes it harder for them to say no.

"No, the one who sent you here must be the one to send you back or else if a spell was accidentally cast on you it would stay on you when you got back. In your cases you would have wings and tails for the rest of your lives. And you would have your horn grow in fully still." Celestia said pointing at Karly.

"Wait, my horn? What are you talking about?" Karly asked pulling her hat down further.

"What you think is a pimple is actually the point of the horn growing from your forehead" The princess explained. Karly pulled her horn down farther

I glanced at Alison because of how ridiculous that sounded. She looked like she was struggling to not laugh and when I looked at her she lost it. She fell to the ground laughing loudly and making the others start laughing. I just chuckled a bit but saw Karly was looking uncomfortable at it. I walked over to her and put my hand on her shoulder.

"Don't worry I know what you're thinking but we are just laughing at how wrong that sounded. We are not laughing at you" I said with a smile.

"I know but it still feels like your laughing at me" Karly said smiling a bit

"I would never laugh at you unless you were trying to be funny. Svitlana on the other hand." I said making a weird face. Karly laughed.

"I heard that" Tiffany said coming towards us wit ha smile on her face

"We weren't talking about you Tiff" I said giving her a hug.

"Oh" She said and walked off. She sure is strange.

"So, You cant do anything to help us?" I said once everyone had calmed down enough. Svitlana snorted and we looked at her. She had a surprised look on her face but instantly broke out laughing when she saw  the looks of confusing on our faces.

"Any way" I said glancing back at Svitlana warily "Why cant we just see our world again? At least can we get some oreos?"

"I'm afraid we can not let you see your world at this moment because it would be too tempting for you to jump through. We can get you oreos though" She said.

"OREOS!" Svitlana and Tiffany yelled as they ran at the princess. I jumped in front of them right before they reached her.

"Stop it or no Oreo!" I said. They backed up slowly away from me.

"Please? Cans we has Oreo?" Svitlana asked in an annoying voice

"Maybe if your good" I said and she smiled

"YAY!" She ran back to the others and they started talking.

"Sorry, they really like Oreos and any other type of junk food" I said turning towards the Princess. They looked stunned.
