Ashley Pov:
I was so hyped about today. After serveral months of waiting, me and my parents were finally moving to L.A.from Boston. YASS!!
~the next day~
I walked into a room packed with different kids. Some I saw from tv or other stuff but none of them would ever know me.Asyou stand in line to wait for your script, I watched So yo think you can dance on my phone(video above). I suddenly feel a tap on you shoulder. A super cute boy a little bit older than me smiles. I instantly blush.
"Know that guy in the front?",he asked smirking.
I look back at the video and realize, that's Kida!
"Not really. I see a lot of dancers around. That could be anybody." I say, equally smirky.
He laughs. "You a dancer?"
"Yeah but I.. I'm not that good."
"I'm Kida."
"Figure that out already",I pointed to my phone,"I'm As-"
"Hello!" A voice came out of nowhere! I jumped up and yelped, while Kida started dying laughing.
I quickly realized it was just the secretary.Sssoooo embarrassing 😳😳😳😳😣
"Oh! Hello ma'am. I'm Ashley Monet Long for the role of Tori."
"Yes I'll go get your script"
"Moe-net? Is that how you say your name?", Kida asked.
"Moe-nae. Like how horses neigh. Mo-neigh.
"Ooohhhh."
"Yeah"
It got pretty quiet after that. Really awkward.
"So I'm trying out for Jay."
The movie I was auditioning for was based off the book If Only (not real books).Tori is the new girl in a small town and she instantly has a thing for Jay, a dancer(sound familiar?). Soon they become more than friends but the more their relationship grew, the more their friends wanted it to end. Really good book.
"Oh cool beans".
"Leon Burns for Jay."
"Leon?", I ask with a smirk.
He laughs and walks to the door to audition,"Shut up Moe-net!"
I quietly laugh as I watch him walk off.
~2 hours later after all the auditions ~.
I was waiting outside for my mom to show up but... she never did. Bruh.
"Hey Ashley".
"Hey Kida", I said dully.
"Wait how did you know that it was me?"
"Because I'm a wizard.", still not looking at him.
"Wanna go get some Starbucks."
I turn. "You'll pay right?"
"Yea come on"
