Raven~
"Raven get up!! You're gonna be late!" My aunt Marie shouted from outside my bedroom door. I mumbled something incoherent and shoved my face back into my pillow. "Come on honey, you can't be late for school." As much as I want to just sleep right now, I know she's right. I grumbled and pulled myself out of bed. Another knock sounded through the room.
"Marie you can stop now, I'm up!" I yelled as I started taking my pyjamas off. I heard her footsteps move away from my door.
I checked my reflection in the mirror. My white school shirt tucked neatly into my black pleated skirt, black tie sitting in the middle, navy converse on my feet, bracelets hugging my left wrist and a wolf print necklace, my parents left with me, hanging down my chest. Perfect. I picked my school bag up and placed it over one shoulder before looking closely at my make-up and leaving my room.
I skipped up to my cousin's door and knocked.
"Oi Nathan, get yo' ass out here!" I yelled as I pounded on the door.
"Language!" I heard the faint yell of my uncle from downstairs. I laughed a little and yelled "sorry" in reply. Nathan opened the door; his curly brown hair covered his eyes slightly before he flicked his head to move the curls.
"Calm ya tits Raven." Nathan grumbled. Forever the morning person.
"Respect your elders mate! Oh and brush your teeth, your breath stinks." I laughed as he frowned.
"You're only a couple months older than me so shut up." He pouted. Nathan rushed into the bathroom and slammed the door shut behind him. Oh I love annoying little Nathan.
Nathan glared at me when he eventually came downstairs.
"What's wrong with you?" Marie asked. I had to force my laugh to stay down.
"He's mad at me for saying his breath reeks." Marie burst out laughing and patted Nathan on the cheek.
"At least she told you." Her eyes glistened in amusement as she watched her son sulk.
"Well we better get going!" I beamed at my guardians. I kissed my aunt on the cheek before dragging Nathan out the house by the strap of his bag.
"Nath I'm sorry" I say, handing a piece of gum to him and popping one in my mouth too.
"I know you are Rae, I wasn't even mad" he laughed. I gasped and hit his arm, hard.
"To say I gave you a chewing gum!" he groaned and rubbed his arm.
"You didn't have to hit me so hard!" he whined making me chuckle.
"Baby" I mumbled as I pulled my phone out of my bag. I silently laughed as Nathan hit my arm.
