Now that Lin has custody of her, he has to be in charge of her medication. They also proscribed her a sedative, just in case she get out of control. She has to take her medications twice a day. Lin is pretty good to her. At home he's calm, and relaxed. He has a soft side. When's he at work he's a little serious, Tora understood that. She give him his space. He registered her into a privet school for kids like her.

Lin was running late, he had to pick up Tora. While Lin was picking up Tora, Mai walked in late, which get on Naru's nerves.

"You're late Mai!" Naru said.

"I know I'm sorry, the school had a..." Naru interrupted.

"Never mind Mai, just make the tea." Naru ordered.

"On it!" Mai said.

When Mai was making the tea, Lin walked in with Tora, who still had her school uniform on. Tora looked at Mai and glared. Mai looked away.

"Easy Tora!" Lin said.

She walked past Mai, she sat on the couch, she opened a book and started reading, then she opened her bad, got out a laptop, then she started typing, she got a notebook and pen, and started writing things down. She frowned. Then there was nock on the door.

"Come in!" Naru said.

A women with fancy clothes came in. Tora glance up then started doing her work again.

The woman and Naru started talking, about her events that was happing in her Victorian Mansion, footsteps, running footstep going up and down the stairs. Whispering, and loud nocking noises. Then Naru said they would look into it, starting tomorrow. Tora glance up at the women. The women's nose started to bleed, Mai grabbed a tissue for after glaring at Tora. The women left.

"Really Tora, you don't even know her, and you play voodoo games." Mai scoled.

"And that proves my point, you just meet someone, and then you show sympathy for them." Tora said.

Mai gawked.

"You did that to get to me?" Mai said her face heating up.

"No, I did it to test you, to see if your emotion will get in the way of the case!" Tora said.

Mai had to bite her tongue.

"She acts like Naru, but on steroids" Mai thought to her self, she thought she did.

"You do realize, you said that out loud, don't you?" Tora said.

Mai look at Naru who looked back with venom.

"N-Naru I..." Naru interrupted her.

"Save it Mai, let's all go home, and get ready for tomorrow." He said.

"Come on Tora, let's go home, it's time to take your medications." Lin said.

Tora got up, Lin held up her coat, and put it on her.

They walked out, it was raining.

Naru was getting ready to close up, when there was a screech of a car, then a scream from Tora. Both Mai and Naru ran. Tora was on the ground, staring at the car with wide eyes.

"Tora!" Lin gasped.

He kelt down, Tora was clearly shaking.

"Tora are you hurt?" Naru asked kneeling down also.

Tora shook her head.

Mai looked at the crash, Tora was saved by a light pole.

"The driver, check the driver!" Tora managed to say.

Mai ran to the car, she looked, the driver was unconscious, and bleeding from the head.

"Naru he's hurt bad!" Mai said.

Naru got out his flip phone and called 911. The ambulance was there in matter of minutes. Two paramedics got the man out and put him on the gurney, and took him to the ambulance. Another was checking Tora over.

"Did you hit you head?" He asked.

"N-No, I-I don't think so!" Tora said.

"Did the car you hit you at all?" He asked.

"No!" Tora said.

"We still need you to come to the hospital, you're at the beginning of a shock!" The paramedic said, and called for another ambulance.

Tora nodded. Once the second ambulance arrived, they came out with a gurney. She let them put her on the gurney. Lin went with them. He held her hand.

"Lin call me as soon as you get to the hospital!" Naru said.

"Of course!" Lin said, and the ambulance doors closed.

Cop were on the scene, asked witnesses questions.

"All I saw was the car spinning out of control, then it was heading right towards the girl, she was saved by the light pole." A women said.

The police wrote it down.

"I just hope they're both okay, it is slippery coming around the corner, I don't think it was the drivers fault." The same woman said.

Then they asked Naru and Mai if they saw anything.

"We just heard the crash!" Mai replied.

"Let's go home, the case is still on!" Naru said.

Mai agreed. She kept her thoughts to herself. If she wanted to keep her job she had show respect.
