The lights flickered back on. Tora whimpered, she was in large amount of pain!
Ayako ran to her, with Lin's help, they had Tora up straight. Ayako gently lefted her torn sweater. She let out sob, from pain.
"They don't look to deep!" Ayako said.
Mai ran out to tend to Masako.
Mrs. Ame left, then came back shortly with a towel, and a bowl of water, and a a sweater.
"Thank you Mrs. Ame!" Lin said
"Your welcome!" Mrs. Ame said.
After they got the bleeding under control, they bandaged her back up. Put on the sweater given to by Mrs. Ame.
Carefully Lin helped Tora up, and lead her to the couch.
"Okay we need to focus on the issue now." Naru said.
Mai came running in.
"Masako's missing, I've looked everywhere." Mai said.
Tora scoffed. "Looked in the basement!" Tora said.
"Mrs. Ame, where's your basement?" Mai asked.
"Down the hall second door to the left!" Mrs. Ame replied.
"Thank you!" Mai said and left.
"Tora, I know it might be early, but we need to know what attacked you!" Naru said.
"There were so many, I couldn't really see, they had claws, and yellow like cat eyes!" Tora said.
"Okay, doesn't sound like spirits!" Naru said. "Sounds more like demons disguised as animals, it's very common!" Naru said.
Tora leaned her head on Lin. Lin wrapped his arm around Tora, carful not to hurt her.
Mai came walking in with Masako.
Tora glared.
"Mai why did you bring he in here!" Naru asked.
"Naru, she wants to help!" Mai said.
Naru sighed.
"Fine, but don't think you have your job back!" Naru said. "You want to come back, you have to earn it!" Naru said.
"I don't know how!" Masako said.
"Yes you do, you know what you need to do!" Naru said, and at that he walked away, meaning he was done talking.
Masako looked at Tora, who glared back.
"Alright, we need to figure what we are dealing with." Naru said.
Tora flinched in pain.
All of a sudden Tora gave in a sharp gasp, then fell forward!
"Tora!" Lin gasped catching her.
Lin laid her down on the couch.
"What just happened?" Mai asked.
"I-I don't know!" Lin said. "Tora!" Lin whispered.
Then her eyes shot open, her eyes were glowing white. She got up, like she was in a trance she walked slowly to the door.
"Her powers are telling us something, it's using her to tell us, fallow her!" Naru told monk, Lin, and John!
They did.
The fallowed her to the hall, and to the basement door.
"The basement?" Monk said.
She walked down. They fallowed. Once she reached the bottom. She turned to them. She spoke, but it wasn't Tora's voice, it was a woman's voice.
"Find Cate Tiernan!" Then Tora callasped, after she pointed at the north wall.
Lin caught her.
"Cate Tiernan? Who is that?" John asked.
"She an author of several books, the most popular is The Book of Shadows!" Monk replied!
"The Book of Shadow?" John asked.
"It's a book containing religious texts and instructions for magical rituals found within the Neopagan religion of Wicca." Monk replied.
"If it's a book, why did she point to the north wall." John asked.
"I don't know, maybe we should ask Mrs. Ame!" Lin said.
Carrying Tora, they went back to the living room. Lin put Tora on the couch.
"Well?" Naru said.
"I don't know it's confusing. She told us to "Find Cate Tiernan!" Than she pointed at the north wall!" Monk said.
"The north wall in the basement?" Mrs. Ame asked.
"Yes!" Monk replied.
"It use to be my daughter's room!" Mrs. Ame said.
"You had a daughter!" Mai asked.
"Yes, she died of cancer a few years ago, the pain was to great, so I sealed it off!" Mrs. Ame said.
"Is it still there?" Naru asked.
"Yes it is!" Mrs. Ame said.
"Is it possible to look in it!" Naru asked.
"Well yes, but you have tear down the wall to get there!" Mrs. Ame said. "I guess you have my permission to do so." She said.
Monk lead then down to the basement. Lin stayed up stairs with Tora.
Monk began to tear down the wall with a sledge hammer. Finally a room was spotted. Once they were able to fit in the wall, they walked into the room.
Everything was covered in dust. There was a small bookcase. Naru walked over to it. Looked and got out The Book of Shadows, he opened it something fell out, it was a piece of paper with numbers.
"Looks like a combination code to something!" Naru said. "Question is, to what?" Naru said.
There might be something in her closet, she always kept it closed, I tried to open it before, its locked." Mrs. Ame said.
"Okay so where would the key be?" Naru said.
"Well, I hid my key to my safe in jewelry box!" Mai said.
Naru looked around.
"Wait Mai you have a safe?" Monk said.
"Yes, it where I keep my notes, and money I earn!" She said.
Naru saw a large black box, he walked over to it, opened it, there was a key, he took it, walked to the closet, put the key in, and unlocked the door. There was a big safe thing in the closet.
"Oh my god, she had this thing in here!" Mrs. Ame said.
There was a combination lock on it. Naru put in the numbers, the safe unlocked. What was inside was shocking.
