2003 to 2005 were upsetting and scary/intense years.

To start off early 2003 brought my oldest sister Susan being adopted by Ora's friends Pearle and Mark.

Then I met my foster mother Susan. She was Roman Catholic so I remember having to pray the Rosary every morning and night. Mom lived in Indus with her daughter Theresa and my foster siblings Lisa, Alex, Eric and Chantelle and Kelsey. I don't remember much about Lisa or Alex, but have many memories of living with Eric, Chantelle and Kelsey. Mom had a large Husky named Bailey (who's father and mother starred in Snow Dogs the movie) and Benjamin a little Shitzu. When we lived on the acreage in Indus, Theresa had two horses named Dakota and Riley. In late 2003 we all (except Alex and Lisa) moved into Calgary in the beautiful, new community of Monterey Park.

My favourite memory of when I lived with mom was when we went to Rocky Mountain House at Christmas. I remember how beautiful the scenery was that Christmas.

Towards the end of 2003 I met my foster mom Linda and foster dad Murray and there kids Tammy, Justin and Domaso. I don't remember much about Domaso, but I remember I spent a lot of time with Tammy and Mark and there kids Roxy and Kanesha and Justin. I have a lot more memories of time spent with mom then with dad, but I remember when dad took me to work. I was eager to learn more about dad's printing business.

Soon after meeting mom and dad, I learned that mom and I shared a love of Country Music.

My favourite memories of living with mom and dad was when the first summer I lived with them we went to the lake in Northern Saskatchewan. It was there that I got to try BBQ Lake Trout which dad made and I really enjoyed it.

I started school in early 2004 at Colonel Walker Elementary School in the Hull School Satellite Program. It was short lived though as by Halloween of that year I would have my Appendix mysteriously burst on me in school and I would have to wait almost 3 days to get my burst Appendix removed. I found out that I was only a few hours away from death when I went into surgery. I got to spend Halloween in the Hospital.

Shortly after returning to school I would learn that the school was flooded due to a burst pipe.

When they moved the Hull School Satellite program to Sherwood Elementary/Junior High I found my love for volunteering. I had a couple of Volunteer opportunities and the one that stuck out to me was Volunteering at the Beaverdam Lodge (a senior's home in SW Calgary) and where I would get the opportunity to meet an older gentleman named Scottie. I remember when Scottie and I sat and had Ice Cream together. It brought great joy to my heart when everytime I went to volunteer and see him there, I always made him smile. I had a special bond with him more than with the other residents I came to meet over the good year I was there.

In late February 2005, I would move into a Grouphome on William Roper Hull Campus in SW Calgary. Even though most of the roommates
