Dex's POV

"Shara up stairs NOW! Me and your mom have to talk." I growled at her. "Yes father I shall." She ran up stairs as quick as she could and slammed the door shut.

"Look at what you have done to this family Clare! You have scared our daughter!" I yelled at her. "Well I am sorry, I don't give a damn about that little runt." My eyes became red and my claws showed, I won't be able to control my wolf much longer. Why is she being so calm about all of this? "Look Dex I don't love you or even like you. I can't be with a guy how is so protective and keeps me away from any other guy." She looked at me and acted calm. "Y...you don't love me?" I fell to the floor and her words repeated in my head "I don't love you."

"I Clare Ruth Cannie reject you Dex Matt Shadow as my mate." She looked at me and laughed

"I accept your reject..." I said as I layed on the floor crying.

"So sad to see the most feared Alpha known to man and wolf." She glared at me. "I will be back for my things tomorrow." She walked out the door leaving me on the floor.

5 hours later

"Dad? Daddy you okay?" I heard my little six year old daughter knock at the door. "Daddy please I'm scared." The knocks grew louder and louder as I kept laying in bed and drinking whiskey. I burped and opened my door. "What the hell do you want?" I growled at her with my eyes pitch black as she shook in fear. "Papa please put down the bottle and get some rest you need to sleep so you can train me tomorrow like you promised." She said as she held her head down. "No you can go train yourself now get out of my sight." I turned around and slammed the door in her face.

Three months later

"Sir, you have a ball tonight so please come down to the ball." My Beta Keith said as he opened the door. "Fine I'll come down, but I'll be drinking the whole time." "Yes, sir as you wish now get ready many ladies are waiting to meet you." I get dress and I head down to the ballroom.

I see a girl in a really really short red dress walk up to me and grind on me. "Hi Alpha Shadow." She said seductively and winks and me. "I'm sorry miss but I am not interested in women like you. "Awe come on Alpha, I can give you all the pleasure you want." She clinged onto my arm. "Yes, I am sure about it, now get off of me that is an order!" I glared at her "As you wish Alpha but mark my words you will be mine." She scuffed as she walked to her group of sluts.

"Woah is Vanessa still wanting to get with you Dex?" My twin Carlos said coming over to me with Keith. "Yeah same as in high school too. God I wish she would just die of some STDs." I chuckled. "Well brother me and Keith have been talking and we have planned on having you travel to each pack all over the world till you find your second mate. That is if the Moon Goddess herself lets you have a second mate." He smiled politely trying to get me to say yes. "I'll think about it Carlos." Once I said that I smelt a beautiful fragrant. I looked everywhere but I couldn't find where it was coming from. I gave up and walked outside on the balcony looking at the stars praying to the Moon Goddess for me to find a second mate for me to love forever and to help me get over Clare.

"May I present Alpha Charlotte!" I heard a guard announce and I turned around and saw it was her whom I smelt. She is my second mate I have wanted. I want her... no I need her.
