Chapter 2

Dex's POV

Charlotte I remember her from High School I used to have the biggest crush on her. She was so shy and quiet I loved it, but I found Clare at that time so I couldn't ask her out. I remember seeing her in class everyday reading her books. Her hair was thick and wavy I loved it so much and her blue eyes that shimmered when she laugh or smiled. I could never stop daydreaming of her until she moved and I never got to see her again.

"Sir! Sir! ALPHA!" I heard Keith shout. "Wh..what is it." I said snapping out of my daydream. "Miss Alpha Charlotte asked to talk to you." He said as he bowed and excused himself. I walked to the meeting room to see her sitting there with her hair in a ponytail and in a tied crop top and black skinny jeans with her black short boots.

"You requested to speak to me Alpha Charlotte?" I asked politely. "Yes Alpha Shadow I wanted to talk to you because my pack..." She trailed off and then attacked me. "Dex! I have missed you! Finally my mate!" She yelled as she tackled me to the ground. "C...Charlotte can you get off of me please?" I asked with my face flushed red and eyes black with lust. "Oh yes sorry.. anyways my pack has been attacked so we were hoping to have you let us move here and combine packs but because we are mates it won't be so bad."

"Charlotte yes you may stay but we can't be together I am sorry.. I just can't." I looked out the window and I could feel her hurting. "As you wish Alpha Dex." She left the room and when to the guest room.

I heard a knock on my door as the storm started. "Yes who is it?" I said rubbing my eyes. "It's me Charlotte, can I sleep with you please I'm scared." You could see the fear in her eyes. "Sure sure come on." She jumped into my arms. I carried her over to the bed and covered her. She fell asleep she looked so peaceful when she was sleeping. I layed down and closed my eyes then she wrapped her arms around me so I awoke a bit and moved her onto my chest then I kissed her forehead and she stirred a bit then stopped.

I woke the next morning with her in my arms and I smiled wishing I could stay like this forever but it ended shortly when she woke up and jumped out of bed. "What the fuck! How am I sleeping with you!" She felt her neck making sure we didn't mate yet. "Charlotte you came to my room last night because of the storm so I let you sleep with me." I stated. "Okay but why was I in your arms?" "Well to answer that question Charlotte it was because you cuddled me then I snuggled you." I said looking into her stunning blue eyes. "I'll let it slide but if you do that again I will kill you because I haven't accepted you yet."
