I was taught to be beautiful.
Rule #1: Never take a compliment.
I was taught that there is always something to fix; something to change. That compliments will only blind you from the truth.
Rule #2: Wait for the boy to make the first move.
Never go through with your feelings on a boy. Wait for the boy to act on his feelings first. No guy likes it when you take such a "masculine" role from them.
Rule #3: Don't show useless emotions.
Always keep a smile on your face. Showing almost any other type of emotion will make you ugly and unapproachable. So bottle up your feelings; they're probably just my imagination anyway.
Rule #4: Weight is important.
We want someone to hold us; to love us. Who wants to hold someone who is overweight?
Rule #5: Buy the "right" size.
Rule #6: There will always be something to fix.
Rule #7: Ask permission for everything.
Rule #8: Sit up strait.
Rule #9: Be good with pets.
Rule #10: Don't be too fussy.
...
The boys? The boys only have one, set, rule.
Rule #1: Buy the right sized ring so the girls father will be happy.

I was taught to be beautiful.
