After years of being away from each other, it's here. The time for her to come home. I can't begin to say how happy I am.
But now I get to see her. To see her beautiful eyes, and that smile I just adore. I get to feel the way she just fits with me.
I buy her flowers, chocolates, tickets to a movie and ice skating. Things I know she'll love. It's 9am she gets here at 10, I hour to go and I'm jumping up and down.
9:30am only 30 minutes left. Now I'm pacing in front of the door waiting for the car to arrive. I find myself looking every 5 minutes to see if it's her car in the street.
9:50am. I don't know what to do. Do I make myself look busy for when she comes in the door. Or do I be one of those needy boyfriends who runs out to them as soon as they get out of the car.
10am she's here. I wait until she's out of the care. I open the front door she immediately looks at me with the biggest smile. I smile back, we walk towards each other. And we hug each other as tight as possible, not letting the other go.
I look at her in the eyes and I kiss her. With everything I have I kiss her. She kisses me back knowing that she feels just the same.
