Chapter 3

Last time: I opened the door and pointed the gun.

At the other end of the gun was a pale face stricken with fear. It was Jerome. I stared at him with a look of confusion. I grabbed him and pushed him in the room. I slammed the door and shouted: WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING HERE?

"I-I just wanted to talk to M-Matt." He stuttered.

"Why? What do you want?" I shouted.

"I wanted to say sorry. What's it to you bitch?"

"Um excuse me? What was that?"

"You heard me bitch"

I punched him so hard in this face that I broke his nose and knocked him out.

"Maddy calm down please." Eric grabbed me by the arm and sat me down on the couch.

" I cant do this Eric." I cried into his shoulder while he whispered sweet, soothing words to me.

"I'm sorry for getting you involved in this."

"Maddy do you care to finish telling me what you did?" Eric's mom questioned.

"Okay. Well my dad was a scientist and a con. He could tell you the Navier Stoker equation and rob you blind at the same time. He did it to a lot of people. He stole things and gave you complex virus that broke your computer beyond compare. He got into deep holes with a lot of people everywhere."

"Wait wait wait. Wait, so your dad was a con man?"

"Sorta like a secret agent. He stole it for the U.S. He eventually got caught taking and hiding the information from the government. I was wight when everything happened. My house was charged. I was with my dad in the library and my brothers and sisters were eating lunch in the kitchen. Thats when the baby started to cry in her bedroom. There were shouts and gun shots. I started to run to the noise and my dad picked me up and hide me under the couch. He ran out of the room and there were more shots. I had sat under the couch for 15 minutes when my dad came back. He had blood on his clothes and when I went out into the kitchen my whole family was gone all except my dad." Everyone sat in silence.

"Maddy, dear are you saying that your family has been kidnapped for 8 years?" Eric's mom asked.

"Yes. I know you think I'm crazy. But I overheard a conversation my dad had on the phone and it was about something he took. I took the information that my dad had and this all went down. I know its crazy but it was about them, my whole family. They're alive this paper says they are! I just need to find them, but first I have to make sure Matt is safe and make arrangements." I hadn't realized I was pacing until Eric forced me to sit down.

"Why don't you just kill yourself and make it easier for everyone?" Jerome said just waking from his K.O. ;)
