Haruka Mimori

"Mimori. Haruka Mimori."

"I'm Kurosawa Yuki. Nice to meet you." Is that awkward? Am I awkward? Ugh.

"Nice to meet you too.", She said with a slight smile. Then, I realized she had a sudden look of realization. "I'm sorry but, you can't be here right now."

I raised one eyebrow and said "Why? What's wrong, I come here everyday so why now?"

"I said I'm sorry. I can't tell you what's going on. It's for your protection, just believe me, ok?" The look she gave me was genuine.

With a sigh I replied, "Ok, but, please come see me again ok. I know it's only been a few minutes but I'd like to get to know you."

" I'll try to. You have my word."

"Thank you. I'll see you later" I said with a smile as I walked away.

After school I checked to see if Haruka was there. Once I got there, I looked and there was no sign of her. I checked any other places she might be, but I was interrupted by Hiyori and Mei.

"Come on, we have to go back home." Said Hiyori

"But-" I replied before being interrupted by Mei,

"What or who were you looking for anyway?"

"I was looking for-" I stopped thinking of what Haruka told me "I was just looking someone I met earlier."

"Oh ok...I guess." said Hiyori with concern. I could tell by the tone of her voice.

We headed home, but all I could think about was Haruka. Where did she go and why was she here? I had so many questions that I couldn't ask her. Every once in a while I would look over and see Hiyori looking at me, but when she realized I seen her she turned away. I could tell she was worried.

All day, the only thing on my mind was Haruka Mimori. Her face, her hair, her eyepatch. I'd only seen it all once, but knew how it all looked. Before I went to bed, I looked out the window and seen a shooting star. 

"I wish I could see Haruka again." I then laid down and fell asleep.
