"Wake Up Jori, We have to go!!" I hear as I roll off the bed.
"What, i'm up" I say wiping my eyes and smiling" I spent the night at Jason, my boyfriends house. Jason and I are or we were hiding a huge secret from our families. But we could talk about that later. Jason rushes over to me to make sure i'm okay. "You good Jo " he says. "Yeah" I say grabbing the keys and my phone. Jason opens the closet door and gets our suitcase. I put my clothes and a few other things inside, he puts our savings in the bag along with his clothes and zips it up. He takes it to the car while i get inside and turn the car on, Jason comes to my side and helps me to the passengers seat. He gets in and we pull out of the driveway. "Do you want to skip school and go to the park?" He says. "No, I have to face school someday Jay, I can't hide forever." I say with a grimace on my face.
"Okay honey, We'll go" he smiles. We pull into the school parking lot 10 minutes later. He turns the car off and squeezes my hand. "We're goin' to make it through today baby i promise you." He says kissing my cheek. He gets out and opens my door.
"I sure hope so" I say hugging him. As we walk into the school the bell rings. Everyone rushes to their classes. Jason goes to Math and I go to Science. He waves at me and i wave back. When I get to class everyone is already at their desks and my desk has been vandalized, the class calls me names like whore, skank, slut and few other names i'd rather not mention. Humiliation written all over my face, everyone laughs. The teacher walks in as I run out crying. I hide in the bathroom and cry, I open my locket and take the blade out, I dig and take it across my wrist, blood dripping down my arm, the slight pain, it made me feels so much better. I stayed in there for hours crying and thinking.
After the 4th period bell rung I heard the door of the bathroom open. "Jo?" Jo, honey I know you're in here?" Says Jason. I close my eyes and open the stall door. He comes towards me and wipes my tears, he sees my arm and takes me to the sink. He rinses my arm and wraps it in bandages he keeps in his backpack. "Honey, it's okay, we'll get through this together, okay?" He says. I nod my head and he wraps his arm around me and we leave the bathroom.
"Do you want to talk about it?" He asks me. "No" I say, tears rolling off of my cheeks. "What do you have next Jo?" Jason asks. "Ummm.. I think it's gym." I tell him. "How about we go to the park?" He says. The P.A. clicks on. "Jo Quinn Please report to the principals office!" Jason looks at me and I look back with a worried look on my face. I walk away and head towards the principals office.
As I walk into the Mrs. James office my mom wraps her arms around me. I push her away from me as tears fall from my chin. "Where have you been?" She asks me. "You know where i've been." I say angrily. "You know you put me out, and you come here and you put on a front like everything is okay, F**K YOU, F**K DAD, AND SINCE YOU PUT ME OUT OF YOUR LIFE, STAY THE F**K OUT OF MINE!!!!!!!!!!!!" I storm out of the office to find Jason, when i find him he's talking to Raj, his best friend. "Hey baby wh-" He manages to say before i interrupt him. "M-m-my mom was is in the office!" I say panicky. He says goodbye to Raj and we walk to the car.
(Jason's POV)
My day has been pretty hectic and all with me worrying about Jo and the baby. i remember the day she told me that she was pregnant, I was shocked, because Jo was on birth control and we used protection. We didn't tell her parents or mine. But Jo's mom figured it out and told my parents and Jo was kicked out of her house. My mom doesn't mind Jo staying with us but my dad would flip. He has told me on several occasions that he's dissapointed in me and he doesn't want me home. Anyways when Jo came out I was talking to Raj about gettin' a job at his uncles hardware store.
Raj points towards Jo coming out of the office, she looks really upset. I try asking her what's wrong but she interrupts me. I said goodbye to Raj and Jo and I went out to the car. I drove since Jo wasn't feeling good and she was pretty upset.
