I remember that summer. We were so in love it made me warm. Our love shined brighter than the sun. And our affection reflected against the sea, it was visible everywhere.
But then the clouds got darker. The winds got harsher. Your heart got colder. And we never got better.
For all this time I've been searching through the crowds to find the person you use to be. Its still hard to find, the one person who made me extremely happy. Over the years I shut down. You destroyed my happiness, and made me feel betrayed. Until I found someone who made me happy and allowed me to fall in love with him. I can trust him. When I met him, it was like that summer. Only a thousand times better. And it lasts forever.
