A New Life

Chapter 5

Oh man! I'm tired from that gym class! I ran back to the girls locker room and changed back in my regular clothes. I asked Mr. Travis, gym coach's name if I could go to my locker he said sure. So I ran to my locker grabbed my binder and books then waited till the bell rang for my next thing to go, which is lunch. But I'm not hungry so I'm just gonna go to the lunch room and watch every one eat till the bell rings for my next class.

The bell rang and I ran to the lunch room. I sat next to Britney and told her what happened so far today that has happened to me. She was asking if I was alright and I said I was. She said she likes her classes. But wishes we had more classes together. I might actually like Britney as a friend, she's pretty cool and loves reading. She asked me for my phone number in case we are bored or have time to talk. I have her my number just in time cause the bell rang and I walked to art.

Once I stepped in the art room it was beautiful. Colored paper covered the windows so when the sun shine suns through the windows to the paper it shines through out the art room like magic rainbow tiles. I sat at a table and waited till people who had art with me will enter the room. This guy sat next to me, he's kinda cute. "Hi I'm Adrain. Nice to meet you. I heard your new to this school. I'm in some of your classes I just don't have the guts to tell you till now." I laugh and say " Hi Adrain, I'm Sam. Nice to meet you also! I am new and I think you are in some of my classes." He smiles and nods. We both high fives each other and laugh. Art class started and all ready Adrain was really good at drawing. I was like whoa! I started drawing and I could see him watching me draw. He touched my foot on accident "sorry bout that" "oh your okay" I say as I giggle. Boys these days. We started talking once we were almost done drawing. "So do you play any sports? I ask him. "Football and baseball." He answered me. "Oh that's pretty cool I heard football and baseball are a big thing at this school." I told him. "Oh yes it is." He smiles and nods. "So that was you that I sat next to in English?" I asked him. "Yes that was me,sorry bout not talking to you. I was really shy." He laughs and I smile. "Nah, your okay, I understand." I said to him.  We both finished our drawing and he gave me his, I smile and give him mine. "Thank you my kind sir." I laugh and told him. "No problem my lady." He smiles. Maybe I kinda like Aiden too....he's really nice and cute also. "Do you like reading and music? I asked him. "Nah I don't like them both cause I love them!!" I laugh " I love them also and drawing!!" He laughs and high fives me again. While we were done drawing him and I asked what classes we have and it's, Art, English, Science and Social Studies.

The bell rings, Adrain and I walk together,talking till we are at the science room. We both sat next to each other and talked and talked till the bell rings,then we stop talking cause science is starting. In some parts of class I can see Adrain looking at me then looks back like nothing happened. I like my science teacher she's really nice, Ms. Adams. Once Ms. Adams stopped talking she gave us free time to talk to other people just anything we want but it has to stay appropriate. I laugh when she said it has to stay appropriate. Adrain and I talked again and he asked me from my number. I told him and he added me in his contacts. He looks at me again and I look at him......he's cute if I didn't tell you that already. I smile and he does too. He's 14 years old! I think I will make some friends at this school, like Britney and I are friends, Brandon and I are friends, Adrain and I are friends, and I can make more I just need time to develop and get the hang of it. "Never stop being you." There's another quote I can add to my note book of quotes. 

The bell rang, Adrain and I walked and talked again till we got to social studies.  He made a joke and I laughed really hard I chocked on air then he starts laughing. The teacher is really nice also, her name is Mrs. Brown. I sat next to a girl named Summer, she is really nice and we have a lot in common. "Oh my god you love them too!?" I say! "I LOVE THEM SO YES I HAVE THEM!" We both laughed! She told me she's in my study hall and gym class also. "Your a fast runner no joke!" I smile and said "thanks same with you! Do you play any sports?" I asked her " I used to be in cross country then I stopped doing it after I broke my foot from slipping on wet grass when we were at practice." I felt bad "sorry to hear that." I say to Summer. "Don't be sorry it's alright!" We both smiled. All of a sudden I felt something behind me and Adrain scares me! "OH MY GOD!" I said after I squealed! Adrain laughs and says sorry. "It's alright, I think it's funny also."  We both laughed.

The bell rang, once again me and Adrain walked together. We went to my locker so I can get my book bag and stuff. He smiles and looks at the pictures on my binders. "You drew those?" He asked in shock. "Yes,why?" I say. "They are really good!" I smile and said thanks. "No problem my lady" we laugh again and walk to the busses.
