All three of us, Lindsay, Jennifer, and I were going to Yosemite to climb Half-dome on a class field trip with a ton of STUPID’S and our PE teacher, Mr. Sancis.

"Dylan, you still owe me five bucks from 2 weeks ago!" I yelled while everyone was unloading the bus with all the other students, most of which boys. All my friends say that I'm pretty, with my hard black eyes that twinge with gold and my uneven jet black hair that fades into purple at the ends, which also shine in the sun. I also have a dark tan from staying in the sun so much. My dad abandoned me when I was five and my mom, well i just don't know. I had come home from school one day and she wasn't at home, I tried calling her work since i wasn't totally dumb but she didn't pick up either. And I have been alone ever since. That is until i found my friends.

"I realize that, Ballantynn! Just give me a break!" He yelled back, equally mad. I hate it when people call me by my last name.

"She has for two weeks, Dylan." Said Jennifer while reading a college grade math book even though everyone here was 16. She was really smart and was quiet most of the time, no one knew much about her except that she was smart, fast, and antisocial. Whenever she said something, which she usually didn't, everyone would drop everything and listen. She had dark brown hair with reddish highlights with eyes that were brown and silver.

"Just shut up,” Dylan said as he stalked away towards the trail head with the rest of the class.

"Ooh..." Lindsay said. She was the weirdly violent girl every class had. She was obsessed with everything Greece, like me, and isn't the best with school. She had shoulder-length, curly/frizzy black hair, and eyes that were a deep purple. "How about we both go up to Dylan while he's looking over the edge and flip him off the side of half-dome!" She joked with so much enthusiam it was impossible to say no.

Lindsay and I went up to him (while Jennifer was sitting under a huge pine tree reading math) and looked over the edge while waiting for Dylan to do the same. Then the both of us saw some white things moving up in the sky.

"Did you see that?" I said while squinting.

         "Yeah...That's weird."

" Probably just some clouds..." I said, but we both knew it was something important.
