A group of boys were riding an old, yellow school bus to a day that was supposed to be fun while a bad blizzard was happening all around them. It was Robert's birthday, and he wanted to take his friends to his favorite restaurant- Steak and Shake! All of the boys were excited, but what they were in for would change their lives.
One boy Sam looked out the window, he saw how bad the blizzard was. He was excited for the party, but not for the bus ride in this terrible storm. He was 13 at the time; he was the shortest in the group, but one of the smartest.
Another boy was Dante, he was already 14 at the time and he was probably the most athletic of them all, but not the strongest, that was Robert. He too was excited for this party, but this blizzard scared him. He wondered if they would make it to the restaurant alive.
Taylor and Ethan sat in the front, them as well staring out the frosted window. They were good friends, both built average height and kind of skinny. They feared for the worst of this trip.
Cole and Corey sat in the back. They didn't really worry about the storm, they just sat there and talked and were enjoying themselves. They planned to have one of the best days of their lives with their friends, but that would change soon.
Steven and Blake were there too. They sat toward the back. They were in front of Robert and were joking around with him too. Their laughing made the whole bus happy.
Finally, there were Robert and his other friends: Rick, Marco, Peter, and Billy. They were laughing at the top of their lungs, almost screaming with laughter. They acted as if they weren't a terrible blizzard raging outside.
The bus chugged on down the road. Everyone talked with one another,  trying to ignorestill feared the blizzard. The windows were covered in ice and snow and they had a hard time looking out them. The level of fear increased.
That's when the bus stopped. The were going to pick up their friend Apollo from his house since he was on the road they would be driving on. The doors broke the ice on them and opened slowly to let in good old Apollo. He waved to Ethan and Taylor in the front and then made his way to the back else. He said hello to his friends and plopped down next to his best friend Sam and the ride continued.
