Unknown to the Kings Guard, the next to rule was already chosen.  When night fell, the Kings legendary blade, Dragons Bane, suspended itself in to animation.  It spoke to the chamber keeper, speaking a message.  "The one to rule wears the Elder Gauntlets of Dristle."  The chamber keeper ran and at looking at the Kings body, he noticed the gauntlets had vanished from the dead Kings arms.  The next morning, a message was sent to the castle guard so they could search for the gauntlets.  However, the gauntlets soon came back to them.  The new ruler was, as you may have already guessed, is me.  Syrus Ignerous.  I am an unknown country man with a secret.  Of course, you know what that secret is, Valcore, but let me tell the rest of the listeners.  I have the blood of a Holy God, a Devil Queen, and a human.  I had two mothers and one father.  My sword had an equally interesting secret.  It was "the Holy Netherworm".  It was a sword of righteously demonic power.  I walked up to the castle guard and spoke in demand.  "I must see the King in his burial chamber."  The castle guard was outraged by the demand.  "Who are you to demand this!?"  I looked blankly at the guard.  "The son of a God, a Devil, and a human.  Or better yet, should I just kill you now?"  I proceeded to ask as a sword appeared out of nothingness and shadow.  The chamber keeper saw the Elder Gauntlets of Dristle on my arms and quickly stepped forward, exclaiming.  "Those gauntlets!! Right this way, sir."  A short while later, we had arrived at the chamber.  I could hear Dragons Bane roaring in anticipation.  "Speak Thy true name."  The sword said.  I replied without hesitation.  "Syrus Dragooarth Talcor Ignerous."  Dragons Bane then roared out, "Prove thyself worthy!"
