"The fabulous one has arrived-" Sophia made her presence known to the guild but was interrupted by another voice.
"Which is me." Lotte finished Sophia's sentence, strutting over to the others like a model featured on Weekly Sorcerer.
She took a seat on the sofa and turned to Sophia, "And that's my line!"
Sophia rolled her eyes and was about to retort but she didn't because the door opened, revealing a girl with brown hair standing by the doorway. She was holding a clipboard and a pencil was tucked on her right ear.
"Hi Anna!" Carla greeted her from across the room where she was eating a large chicken drum.
"Hey!" Anna replied back before closing the door and walking towards the center of the room.
"Alright, listen up! It's time to take our attendance!" Anna exlaimed cheerfully while everyone else groaned.
"Why do we even have to do this shit?" Sophia asked, "I mean, you can tell who's here and who's not by looking at us."
"I like to take precautions, okay!" Anna said defensively before starting to take our attendance.
"Maria?"
"Present."
"June?"
"Present."
"Lotte?"
"Absent."
Anna sighed before correcting herself, "The Fabulous One and Sass Queen?"
"Present." Lotte said, satisfied as Anna ticked another box and continued calling out names.
"Mana?"
"Present."
"Ayla?"
"Present 1!1!1!"
"Imelda?"
"She's absent because she's not feeling well." Lotte said.
"Oh, okay. I hope she gets better soon."
"I don't, because that means more food for me!" Carla said as she picked up another chicken drum from the plate beside her.
"Anyway, why are we here again?" Moe asked.
"Oh, right! I've gathered you all here today to tell you that I've signed us all up to participate in the Grand Magic Games. Isn't that exciting?!" Anna squealed.
"Nope," Lotte started, "Why would we join a competition to see who's the best when we all know that I- I mean, our guild is the best?"
"The prizes are money and-" Anna was interrupted by Lotte's shouting.
"LET'S GO FIGHT THESE STUPID ALIENS AND WIN THAT MONEY!"
"YEAH!" The others joined in and scrambled out of the room to train.
"Welp." Anna said, dropping her clipboard and plopping onto the sofa.

Imelda's pov
"I can't believe Lotte forced me to stay here." I grumbled as I reached desperately for my phone, not wanting to get out of bed due to the comfortable position.
I swiped it off the bed stand and unlocked it. I opened my contacts and scrolled through a list of names until I reached Sophia's.

I didn't have to wait long to receive a reply.
We're participating in the Grand Magic Games and now we're training... for the money. I need new bath bombs, 'I Hate Trump and Jacob' t-shirts, etc.

"Hell no, they aren't going to train without me!" I thought as I quickly climbed out of bed to change out of my pajamas. I exited my room and went to the venue where we usually train to find them fighting one on one.
I scanned the room to see who's fighting who and realized there's only one person available for me to fight.
