Following the dark shadows down the hall.
The days before it all.
My heart is coated with my tear drops
From the dark.
What has this love turned into?
Remembering those long gone moments.
Nothing in this life,
Would make me have no regrets.
Isn't it selfish?
My tear drops slowly killing me.
My cries slowly building in me.
I've tried to give it my all.
Watching how my heart leaves.
Such a bitter sight to embrace.
I've come to find that after it all I've
Contracted that love again.
In the dark, the light flickers and dies.
Just like those days, with life.
So, I'll sleep alone,
By myself in the dark.
Difficult to stop my heart.
Before the love came through,
I could think of you.
Would you ever see me
In the same way I see you now?
