Upon waking up i find myself covered. Looking to my digital clock i find that the clock reads 11:21 PM. By my bed side i notice a plate with a few freshly baked cupcakes on the stand. A welcoming feeling overcomes me when i see my father in the doorway of my room. He smiles and fades like a settling dust. Just then mom walks in and says. "It must be strange to learn of your powers all in one day." I stand up and ask. "What do you mean mom?" She answers. "After that fight against your father you must know that you are half demon. Vanesa told me what happened. She had her friend drive her over. You dropped your cellphone." I notice that mom is quickly trying to change the subject so i bring it back by saying. "So i'm half demon? What other powers should i expect to gain?" Mom then replies. "I made you some cupcakes." My eye's narrow and i say. "Mom stop avoiding my questions. What other powers do i need to expect?" She looks out the window at the water dropplets sliding down the opposite side of the window answering. "I never wanted you to know. But i guess that anything dark can never truely be avoided. You were born because of that thing that was once your father. The man who should have been your father died in a car accident. His name was Jack Raza. But the man you were forced to call a father murdered him and did some horrible things to me. One of those things resulted in you being born. That thing was tied to the house you were staying in." Now confused i look out the window noticing the rain fall has become heavier and ask. "But why are my powers coming to me just now and not sooner?" Mom turns to me and says. "Because i had help from Darius's mother in putting a curse on you that would block out your ability to feed on blood or use your other powers to hurt anyone until you turned 18. Now your 18 and your not the person that thing wanted you to become. He is outraged about it. So he forced you to listen as he tortured his prisoners. Then watched as you tried in a failed attempt to save them."
