CHAPTER 4

Sofia's POV

My eyes widen as I looked at my step-brother covered in blood. "J-James what did you do?!" I asked as I backed away. James walked up to me. I quickly ran off and I hide behind a tree. What did James do?! Did he kill someone?! All these questions was floating around in my head.

I felt myself get pinned on the tree. I yelped and saw James who pinned me against the tree. "Hush now princess ~. Your safe with me. Your new prince~." James whispered in my ear. What does he mean 'new prince'?

I was scared. Like beyond scared. I was terrified of my step-brother. "D-Did you kill s-someone?" I stuttered. James chuckled evilly and kissed my cheek. "Since you asked. . .yes. Yes I did." James said smirking.

My step-brother killed someone!!! Who did he kill?!?! "Who did you kill!?" I asked terrified. He chuckled evilly and grabbed my arm and pulled me close. James leaned in close to my ear. "I'm afraid I can't tell you princess. . .you just have to find out~." He whispered in my ear.

I shivered in fear and whimpered. Why is he doing this? I'm scared. I want Hugo!

"James you need to go. Now! I don't want you near me!" I yelled at him. He growled. I should've done that. James squeezed my arm hard.

"You have to be a good little princess Sofia. Or else~." James said. I whimpered and tried to run but he was to strong. "Who did you kill?" I asked. Did he kill mom? Dad? Amber? Mr.Cedric? Baileywick? (Idk how to spell his name so...ye.)

"You really wanna know?" James asked smirking. I nodded. I wanna know. Who. Did. He. Kill?!

"I killed your beloved Hugo. . ."

Sorry its short but anyway...
