Packing your bags was the hardest thing you had to do in a while. You didn't know what to take or what to leave. After getting about 7 outfits packed your brother comes in your room and brings you breakfast.
Your brother, Jacob is an amazing cook. He is 17 and you guys have one of the best bonds siblings could have. He always knows when something is wrong and he talks to you about everything. You couldn't wish for anyone better.
Once you get done eating he starts helping you pack some pictures, books for the flight, your makeup, decorations, etc. You thank him and give him a big hug knowing you won't be able to see him for a while. He reminds you to take your medicine and it surprises you because you forgot to.
"Mom wanted me to give you this," Jacob said.
"100 dollars. I wasn't expecting that much I have some saved," you say.
"Well you know she wants you to be ok," he says smiling.
After a few minutes of saying our goodbyes mom told me I had to leave.
Once hugging my brother bye I was sad to leave. I got everything gathered and just waved at my dad. We never really got along ever since my mom got divorced and got married to him things just weren't the same. Once you said all your goodbyes you leave and get into your car.
You sigh at the sight of your house becoming smaller and smaller in the distance. Your mom is driving you to the air port to get on your flight. Seeing her for a last time in a while makes you sad. You'll miss her but you know you need to get an education.
Once your there you hug your mom one last time. She's crying in your arms telling you how much she will miss you. Your eyes tear up but you don't want her to see.
" Tell Jacob I love him and I'll miss him," you say.
" I will sweety," your mom says.
As you board the plane so many thoughts cross your mind. You wonder how the new school is going to be and who you will be sharing a dorm with. All these thoughts cross your mind but soon enough your sound asleep.
