Maya's POV
"farkle what am i supposed to do?" i asked.
"i honestly don't know maya, i may be a genius but this situation is something that i cant solve." He looked defeated. Farkle wasn't used to not being able to solve something.
"Well Farkle, she has something against me, she has a relationship , a very weird one i might add, with that idiot friar, she's friends with the most popular airheads in school and she will try to make my life miserable with any chance she-" i got cut off by a slight beep from farkle's phone.
Farkle quickly glanced at his phone and turned it off. His light blue eyes looked at me with sorrow and he mumbled, "sorry continue," and quickly formed a slight smile.
No one's Pov
As maya continued to speak illy about her current enemy and new roommate riley matthews. Farkle continued to glance at his phone every few minutes. His smile slowly began to fade away, only to reappear when maya was looking at him. Maya however didn't notice that something was bothering Farkle. She was too caught up in the moment of talking about Riley.
Farkle slowly began to zone out of the conversation. His mind filled with terrifying thoughts and whenever he smiled, his brilliant blue eyes seemed to have lost hope. it seemed as if all joy was drained out of him. He felt he was pathetic. That he was too nerdy, but what really affected him caused him to become speechless. His words came out slurred or mumbled so quiet that not even the tiniest ant could hear him.
"farkle, farkle can you hear me?" Maya replied as she slowly waved her hand across Farkle's face.
Farkle looked up at maya with a dull expression and quickly nodded his head and said, "yeah sorry i just zoned out for a bit, so what were you saying?"
"Well i was saying that we should play a prank on her?" Maya replied as a mischievous formed on her face.
Okay i promise to make my chapters longer this time, I'm thinking about making this story really long :D
I will definitely update another chapter later today so yay :D
